I'd say it's neither of those things. Looks like it would crease like buggery.

It's not a good photo/advert for the product. It looks more like someone trying to sell something pre-loved rather than a major retailer.

I quite like it but that’s because I would’ve worn something similar when I was young 30 years ago. I probably would’ve worn it with a top tucked in or shirt over the top and not those shoes.

there's nothing wrong with the skirt per se, it's the styling of it in the first photo in order to presumably sell it which baffles me.

What an ugly combo, not flattering nor a good look for anyone. Style board loves me when they are fawning over something like this that looks truly awful.

It’s generic fit and color and probably its only redeeming point is ….it goes with everything 😂 Ugly unflattering and poorly styled in the advertisement. I hate beige khaki or tan clothes tho for women and often even for men. it has a utilitarian edge which I don’t like …a skirt but for a busy day…whereas I would wear jeans for a busy day.

It reminds me of 1980s boys uniforms…blue oxford shirt and khakis. Some men never outgrow that combination.
