OMG I got a cuthbert!

TLDR: Thank you so much to the very kind woman who gave me the last toy cuthbert the caterpillar cake in Aldi this morning!

So I got to Aldi at 8.20am after nursery drop off and they were queuing down the aisle to get to the wooden toys! It was all very British and civilised, everyone waiting patiently and no CF trying to push in!

I was resigned at this point to another year of disappointment, but I finally made it to near the front, two women in front of me - the one said to the other only two toy cuthbert cakes left and handed one to the other woman. I asked her, are you sure there's no more?, as they were mixed with other options. But she'd gone right to the bottom of the pile to find them. The second woman turned round and said it's ok you can have this one, I'll get one of the other ones.

This kindness has completely made my day and I can't wait to give it to DS for Xmas! There are truly some very generous people in the world. Thank you again so much, kind fellow mum! 😊

My friend has just found me a Cuthbert at her local Aldi. She lives in a slightly rough area, maybe that's the key to finding one still? Not being judgemental, my area isn't fab either, but the Aldi nearest to me is in a better area. As are the others I know people haven't been able to find what they wanted

Honestly, ALDI need to limit purchases. Some of the behaviour is wild. People will full shopping trolleys full. Someone has basically listed the full new range from today, all boxed and unopened, for £450.

I got a cuthbert for my DDs birthday and a slow cooker, went back at lunchtime for the dressing table and everything and gone. People already selling for 3x the price on Vinted 🙄

OMG My kids would have loved one of these when they were younger. Luckily they're too old now so don't feel the need to hunt one down (although to be honest I'd like one as its so cute)

SIL said there were people with multiple trolleys at her local store. Just clearing the shelves.

I reported them all (it’s really enraged me haha) and Vinted said it was fine, so I messaged and said “as this was apparently an “unwanted gift” would you accept the RRP which is a third of what you’re asking?” I got blocked many times I think 😂
