Oh, and what about the 'unusual uses' bit on page 35 - that person with a carousel who's a member of the "UK Coloured Pencil Society"??????? What's that all about?? She's a rank amateur anyway, dd2 must have thousands of coloured pencils, not just a measly few hundred. Weird.

have you noticed that the letter is still friom michelle, must ahve gone to the printers ages ago

sunchowder · 27/08/2004 17:37

Bran, that is PRICELESS, I am cutting and pasting this condition right now!!!!

bran · 27/08/2004 17:39

After I posted I thought perhaps it wasn't quite right Sunchowder - surely the initials should spell something, like LAKE. Latent Acessory (something) (something)

sunchowder · 27/08/2004 17:40

No, it is perfect, you are brilliant!

bran · 27/08/2004 17:41

Well in that case, all I need to do is write the self-help book about how to cope with the disorder and I will make my forture .

sunchowder · 27/08/2004 17:43

I would be willing to co-author, I really need the monet to support my 'habit'.

bran · 27/08/2004 17:50

Yes, I can see the publicity campaign now - you will be the reformed CGAD sufferer on a mission to save other sufferers from cluttered kitchens and deflated bank accounts. Then just as your fame reaches it height the world will find that I actually wrote the book and you had never reformed but had continued buying useless gadgets under an assumed name. There will be a Martha Stewart style fall from grace, but we will both be increadibly rich which will cushion the blow a little .

Bagpuss30 · 27/08/2004 18:26

LOL Coddy, how did I know this would be you .

Time to confess though that I own some sandwich toaster bags, some half of one containers, a steel soap, some lovely handwash and probably loads of other stuff I have forgotten. Our local shop only opened in December and they do nice Sunday lunches too.....

notthecod · 27/08/2004 18:36

Let's do it Bran....

bran · 27/08/2004 18:55

You're on Sunchowder - I'll be thinking about a 10-step program on my way home from work

Step 1 - Arrange for your dh or one of your children to intercept the post and throw away ALL catalogues. If necessary train your dog to do this.

Step 2 - over to you Sunchowder

notthecod · 27/08/2004 18:56

Coddy, we have Williams & Sonoma and Crate and Barrel and Pottery Barn (to name a few) and Pampered Chef come to the house and do kitchen shows!

sunchowder · 27/08/2004 19:01

Step 3: Work with patient to uncover why they have this tremendous need to be filled...are they looking for love? Just plain sex then? Are they board? Questionnaire should be built for this step.

notthecod · 27/08/2004 19:02
