I trotted off to GP convonced I had vulval cancer .

Was told it was harmless, would probably get bigger before diappearing and may recurr (which it has once). Felt very stupid afterwards.

i had a lumpy fanjo for a while after having the dc... oh god. its this conversation again! can we start a new thread
"FANJOS AND ALL THINGS RELATED" ?

SlightlyMadSlug · 31/05/2007 22:46

Wouldn't be a bad idea. Less than half the posts on this thread mention epilators!!!!

Or maybe we could just join the other thread

Or maybe we should just go to bed

whomovedmychocolate · 31/05/2007 22:49

Here you go

nally · 31/05/2007 22:52

so, are we going over there then?

PinkMartini · 31/05/2007 22:54

CAN ANYONE ADVISE ME ABOUT EPILATORS?

nally · 31/05/2007 22:56

i loooove my epilator

nally · 31/05/2007 22:57

but it takes a long time and i have been having a problem with ingrowing hairs

taffy101 · 31/05/2007 22:59

i got distracted by the vile thread linked to this!
I use an epillator - i DO get ingrowing hairs.\I chucked out the cooling gel bag things and took off the bumpy thing thats supposed to help stop the pain, cos the tweezery things weren't getting close enough. I think its a braun silk epil. I am dead 'ard cos i do my arm pits and tiny parts of bikini line but i do have to pull a strange face doing bikini line cos it is soo painful.

whomovedmychocolate · 31/05/2007 22:59

No, be hairy - you pick up better radio reception if you embrace the fuzz!

SlightlyMadSlug · 31/05/2007 23:00

I looove my epilator but get breakages if my hairs are too long when I use it (so I end up having to repeat a week later). I don't have a problem with ingorwers, but I strictly only do my legs.

Hairs come back finer and I have less than 1/2 as many hairs on my legs as I did 5 years ago as they stop growing eventually.

I personally find it less painful and more efficient than waxing (although I have only ever attempted self waxing).

nally · 31/05/2007 23:02

but it starts creeping if not kept under control. like those plants that creep up the front of houses... but mine is not called ivy

taffy101 · 31/05/2007 23:02

Self-waxing is sadist thing to do - ahhh the pain. the epillator is much quicker so can't sort of pause and change mind at crucial moment!

nally · 31/05/2007 23:02

sms?

SlightlyMadSlug · 31/05/2007 23:04

Yes dear?

nally · 31/05/2007 23:05
