DH told me before I gave birth...are you going to tidy up down there..

er...I would but I can't even see it/reach it..

Well, its hardly fair on poor baby to come out into the world via a bushy minge is it?

Cue me handing DH razor and getting him to do bikini line and general maintenance!

nally · 31/05/2007 22:23

er.. might be time for a bit of maintenance

nally · 31/05/2007 22:25

lol. i went to a salon the week before dd1 arrived, telling the woman to sort it out. it wasn't until after dd1 was born and i could see downstairs that i realised she had done bugger all and charged me for it!

PinkMartini · 31/05/2007 22:26

How funny - I was coming along to post about this? Are they any good?

nally · 31/05/2007 22:26

i wonder if we have been helpful??

whomovedmychocolate · 31/05/2007 22:27

OP has scarpered!

nally · 31/05/2007 22:27

i noticed that too. maybe we have been a little too open?

SlightlyMadSlug · 31/05/2007 22:28

I love my (old & creaky) epilator. But I do find it snaps some of hte hairs rather than pulling them out so I end up doing it 2 consecutive weekends to re-do the growth from the snapped follicles IYSWIM.

You should exfoliate to prevent the ingrowers (I use a dove body puff thing and thats enough).

Oh and I did about 5mm of my armpits once and stopped oooooooooooooooooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucccccccccccccchhhhhhhhhhhhh. I am never going their again, and I rarely go near my fanjo with a razo so won't be trying that either. Bizaarly I don't find my legs painful at all. I don't even use the 'pain reducing' vibrating bit.

If anyone mentions fanjos on this thread again I sware I will spew.

nally · 31/05/2007 22:28

sms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nally · 31/05/2007 22:29

FANJOS

nally · 31/05/2007 22:29

BUCKET???

whomovedmychocolate · 31/05/2007 22:30

Ooh did anyone not see the vulval cyst link I posted earlier, if you want to be really grossed out?

PinkMartini · 31/05/2007 22:30

I have ingrowers but would love to be smooth in the summer on my legs. I am very pale skinned and stubbly plus pasty is too too much.

PinkMartini · 31/05/2007 22:31

WMMC -

where is it?

nally · 31/05/2007 22:32

sluggsy - i was thinking of exfoliating. will it really work though? my legs get really itchy and end up blotchy because i scratch. tried on a lovely dress today, but didn't buy it because my legs look like plucked chicken skin!!!

whomovedmychocolate · 31/05/2007 22:33

PinkMartini - well if you are sure you want to see (no-one else is allowed to click on this link, it's horrid) yuck!

SlightlyMadSlug · 31/05/2007 22:33

Thast it Nally - I am NOT talking to you again.

Vulval cysts I can handle (have had one). Tis those discs revolving at 1200rpm (or whatever) within 50cm of my erm....my....erm.....no I can't say it.

nally · 31/05/2007 22:33

yuck - is that yours?

SlightlyMadSlug · 31/05/2007 22:35

I got a free exfoilator with my epilady but have never used it. I only ever use my dove bodywash thing (you know what I mean?) in the shower a couple of times a week and that is all. Never notcied any ingrowers.

whomovedmychocolate · 31/05/2007 22:35

No, someone was complaining they had a 'lump' here and we were just discussing what it might be.

SlightlyMadSlug · 31/05/2007 22:36

No it wasn't mine. I stupidly clicked on link with DP behind me. Boy I need to get a alptop for privacy!!!!. Mine was on teh size of a pea.

nally · 31/05/2007 22:37

did you know what it was or did your gp tell you?

PinkMartini · 31/05/2007 22:37

whomovedmychocolate - my god you really are a boil expert!! that one was VILE. Lucky for you I have a strong stomach.

whomovedmychocolate · 31/05/2007 22:38

SMS - hahahah you DP now thinks he's in luck...or maybe he thinks you've got the clap and are checking out symptoms online

I did say it was only for pinkmartini did I not?

whomovedmychocolate · 31/05/2007 22:39

PinkMartini - if you read the thread mentioned, you'll see why after my 'imagined fanjo cancer' scare
