BLANKfloozypuddingandpie · 30/08/2005 21:24

cause its just SOOOO light and easy and comfortable to push!

there are no 'hoods' n stuff to get caught on while collapsing (or trying to lie back) it doesnt even lie back!

Just the simplest buggy at its best if you ask me!

NannyL · 30/08/2005 21:29

How funny lockets... if i had twins i would def get a double urban detour!

Agree with NannyL, the volvo is brill.
I had a m&p travel system - brilliant at the time, but when you move to a light stroller, like the volvo - fab !

Don't ask Cod though - she hates all buggies/strollers though !

misdee · 30/08/2005 21:33

I've got a P +t (which i love) and a techno - which also has it's good points.
I need to retire the p+t and replace the techno...so thinking about a volo.

BLANKfloozypuddingandpie · 30/08/2005 21:37

So do you think the accessory pack is a waste of money ?

OP posts:
misdee · 30/08/2005 21:39

i use the zapp as travel systemn atm with a maxi-cosi citi car seat (hate travel systems) but its very handy for the hospital, once i am driving and i can take my p and t, in my huge boot, then then will get used during the winter, by next spring dd3 will be awakew longer socan use the zapp as a buggy more.

see i plan ahead!!

RachD · 30/08/2005 21:40

I bought the volvo extras -
Extra pad & raincover.
Worth every penny.

BLANKfloozypuddingandpie · 30/08/2005 21:40

The Zapp looks oh-so-funky!

I might be sold on the Volo. Would love a Zapp, but a bit dear.

be handy for shopping lol.

IlanaK · 30/08/2005 21:44

Hmmmm....I have a Volo. It is ok, but it has its limits. Yes, it is lightweight, but I found that nothaving the recline was a real pain. I used it first with my then 3 year old and it was fine. But with my younger one, it was a problem so I have put it in storage and replaced it with a Mamas and Papas Pulse for around town. That is a truely lovely pushchair

We also have an Emmaljunga 2 in 1. This is my walking pushchair. It is a "proper" fixed wheel, excellent suspension, forward and rear facing heavy duty thing. It has a buggy board (emmaljunga one) for ds1 to ride and it also has a toddler seat that fits ontop (he used to ride in this but it too big now). This is NOT a pushchair for anyone who uses the car a lot, but for walkers it is fabulous.

I always wondered about the P+T. I considered it at the time I bought the Emmaljunga. It is the only other one that even interests me a little bit.

But in answer to your question, I don't think there is one answer. WHat suits one persons lifestyle will not suit another.

RachD · 30/08/2005 21:51

Someone today was asking WWB to help them find a Zooper.
I dream of having a zooper.
Oh I love the toddler seat.
If we decide to have a second child, I will def, definitely have one !
Forsaking anything else !!!

Very succinct IlanaK.

And Meggymoo, if I saw you with your Xplory, I would have to have a good gawp, sorry, but it would be an admiring one!

best pushchair ever has been the instep double, and i have had some pushchairs in the last 13 years between four of them.Have a Zapp too is easy to push but no storage so bit of a pain and i don't know if a buggy board fits on it any ideas anyone?

Saw a really nice new one in the mamas and papas shop the other day looks really nice not seen it before cant even remember what its called.

BLANKfloozypuddingandpie · 31/08/2005 07:51

Apparently Buggy Boards make pushchair guarantees invalid. Not saying I'm against them though.
