I posted that my dog chewed up my vibrator on AIBU with the name I use on here. So some bored people looked up my user name and saw I had „questionable“ posts here on the sex board.

Unfortunately not. It was a Womanizer. I have however written to them and asked if it covered under the 5 years warranty. I posted to get some laughs. People are so up their own arses. They even searched my user name which normally I only use on this board. And I am accused of being bored, high or drunk. I don’t have time to search other usernames and try to piece together their lives.

I've got an elderly relative whose dog has chewed up her hearing aids several times. And the same dog was at a friend's house and got at the friend's husband's hearing aid too, which led to an awkward situation concerning who should pay for the damage, but it turned out to be covered by insurance. Anyway, regardless of the credibility of people posting here, pets are attracted to personal items, and I doubt if they'd be squeamish about sex toys.

Could be worse - pooch could have swallowed it and led to both issues for dog as it pushes through....

Honestly, MN is full of stuck up, argumentative, moany women. Every single thread, they will argue black is white, or that it’s fake. Zero sense of humour. They need to lighten up!

Yes, dogs do like chewing sex toys. I've not suffered from this myself but I have friends who have had this problem. Particularly if the toys have just been used, as presumably from the dog's perspective this gives them a more interesting flavour. The dog's teeth raise little divots in the material which makes them very uncomfortable to use subsequently.

Sadly the only option in such cases is to get a new one. Maybe the old one can be given to the dog permanently as a chew toy, though this could cause embarrassment if it's left on the living room carpet or in the garden where people can see it.

My dog chewed up my Lovense Flexer - only realised when I found the pieces in the garden. I was very grateful that I'd found them as despite being demolished, it was very obvious what it was! I didn't think of trying to get a free replacement 😂

Walking our dog a couple of years back, we saw a local Boxer dog tearing around the playing field as normal. It's friendly but has zoomies constantly.
It shot down the side of the public toilets near the main road.
