Not sure if this is an age thing (early 40s) but I've started to really dislike the mess from HJs. I don't remember ever being as bothered with actual sex but, for some reason, I just hate the sensation of lubey hands and then being covered in DH's load. I'm curious if this is just a "me" thing, and I need to woman-up, or if it is more common? WAIBU to ask to use condoms or a glove, or is that being too precious?

I think it might be more common than we think. My first wife didn't like taste. She had a real problem with it. Not just in our relationship, but in relationships before ours.

Even as a guy I get it, it is not thr most pleasing sensation on your hands. Is there a reason he is not just finishing inside you?

My deal with DP is that I’ll do pretty much anything with my hands provided gloves are readily available. I think a box of gloves is the bedside draw is an absolute essential. DP also now tells me that gloves and lube feels way better than bare hands!

I can’t agree because I love it - the more the better for me. I think if you have sex you have to accept that’s it’s not a tidy affair, and it’s all part of the fun. That’s just my personal view but I have no issues with it at all; I know we’re all different.

I think slipping on a condom is fine to be honest, saves all the mess and can be put on really seductively as men are very visual

OP yes this is common! With DH I have always used condoms. We have a box of latex gloves and use now and then. Condoms are so easy! With gloves you need to hold a towel over it before he comes. DH goes wild when I use a glove but 9/10 he has a condom
