Sex and size

So I’ve only slept with my husband and we have amazing sex. I think he’s on the larger size of average and quite thick. Like 6-6.5ish. I nearly always orgasm from PIV and even if not I find it incredibly good, think he can hit my deep spots? Had no idea they were a thing until I downloaded omg yes. So I have bugger all experience and I guess I wan to know is this likely to do with my body being particularly responsive or am I just incredibly lucky to have found a guy that fits like a glove? Also has anyone had a bigger one and was it better? Can’t take any more than my hubbys length with a dildo but wondering if the real thing would somehow be easier? Just curious! No plans to source a real life monster lol

I think it's a combination of both. There is a sweet spot for me. Sounds very similar to yours actually. Much bigger and it's too big and painful

NinaOakley · 18/01/2025 12:42

In 30 years I’ve known everything from tiddlers to an ten-inch monster. 5 1/2 inches attached to a man with a fabulous imagination and a willingness to talk has been by far my favourite-after that extra length doesn’t add anything. Much smaller can be frustrating though.

GigiAnnna · 18/01/2025 14:52

A larger one can provide that sense of being really filled and uncomfortable but then that builds into an intense internal orgasm. A medium sized one is enough for me to experience an orgasm too if the man is good in bed but without that sense of being slightly uncomfortable that I actually like. I just don't get anything from a small one and by small I mean 4 to 4.5 inch erect.

You don't reach her cervix?

I’m glad you are so thoughtful and attentive, but sometimes cervix bumping is part of the fun!

Gymbunny2025 · 18/01/2025 20:55

One of the best bits!

Stephy1886 · 19/01/2025 08:09

Seen a guy who was around 8/9
could handle it but at times it was a bit much

find that 4/5 inch is perfect for me. Oral is easier so I enjoy it & they enjoy it more

more comfortable with PIV too

Angela59 · 19/01/2025 12:32

Been a bit spoilt size wise I’m afraid, I take the point it’s “not what you’ve got but you do with it” but like a previous poster had said a larger one can provide that sense of being really stretched and slightly uncomfortable that sets me quivering inside.

Whammyyammy · 19/01/2025 13:25

My husband is 8.5 and thick. Was OK in younger year but can be painful now I'm in 50s without plenty of foreplay and lube.

ScottishZoe · 19/01/2025 19:18

I prefer larger, 6-8inches, due to my deep spots being able to be reached with a partner who is blessed in the size department. With some decent girth as well.

The question “Does Size Matter?” shows up many times. Size is not correctly viewed, in general. A study found that the majority of men believed that the average erect penis length is more than 6 inches. This indicates that there is a general misconception about penis size. Another study concluded the average erect penis length to be 5.16 inches. One interesting video on YouTube from pelvic floor therapist Michelle Kenway discusses information that she gathered. She discusses an article that Bruce M. King did in 2021, which is cited and referenced in the video. Michelle’s survey indicated overwhelmingly, for women, that size does not matter. The themes that came through in her survey included that what matters is technique, honesty, and passion. The 3 key take home messages from the video were (1) Most men estimate size incorrectly, (2) Size does NOT matter for most women, and (3) Other things matter for more women and large size can be painful. Also, with respect to the woman, penis length and girth (in circumference or diameter) can affect her. Length is connected to the length of the vagina that the penis is going into. The vagina can range in length from 2.7 to 5.8 inches in length. The cervix, which is at the end of the vagina, can be hit by a penis that is above average in length; and this can cause pain during penetration sex and even bruising of the cervix. Therefore, the vagina length factor is another reason why a penis length above average can actually cause problems. The other size factor is the girth of the penis, which is usually measured in circumference. A study found that the girth can range from about 3.4 to 5.7 inches with an average of 4.59 inches. This corresponds to about 1.1 to 1.8 inches in diameter, with an average of 1.46 inches. Since the vagina opening can vary from 0.94 to 2.56 inches in diameter, a penis girth above average can matter very much for women with smaller vagina openings.

This sounds like AI so only skimmed through. I think the only opinions you need ask are those of a woman. No one else is qualified to answer.

To answer your question, my message was not AI generated. It was kind of long, though. To specifically answer the original ThisNeedyScroller question:

"Also has anyone had a bigger one and was it better? Can’t take any more than my hubby's length with a dildo but wondering if the real thing would somehow be easier?"

The answer is, it depends. The vagina opening varies from 0.94 to 2.56 inches in diameter. The penis size varies from 1.1 to 1.8 inches in diameter. If the woman's vagina is 0.94 inches in diameter, and the man's penis is 1.8 inches in diameter; it doesn't matter how much lube or warm up you do, the woman is going to have pain from penetration.

Agree @GigiAnnna what nonsense being posted! The experience is totally down to the woman who is having sex with the penis 😂 and what she prefers

And in my experience more and more of us are discovering that it does matter to us, even if science says it shouldnt apparently.

Although natural selection would indicate it does.

Intrigued by this! Is there any evidence of directional selection on penis size? Suspect it’s only the post-pill generations of women who had the opportunity to make significant assessment of their preferences.

Letstalkaboutsex76 · 20/01/2025 19:41

I had an 'accidental' orgasm from a guy who was big in the luggage department! Sex was phenominal; the way he kissed me, the way he unddressed me..all of it. I was 17 and nothing has ever matched up to it. I still think about him, sometimes!

Letstalkaboutsex76 · 20/01/2025 19:43

Every time we had sex, I would orgasm without expecting it! Pure bliss!

TruthSeeker12345 · 20/01/2025 19:43

Please note that my answer (not the answer from Michelle Kenway's survey) to ThisNeedyScroller's question was "it depends", not that size does not matter. I have read comments on the web that the larger girth that goes with a longer penis does add to the pleasure. However, larger girth can cause pain from penetration.

I bet someone is holding on to him and not letting go 😂

I know, and it's not me 🤣😭

It's rare that your first proper sexual experience is the best you've ever had. Yes, he dumped me! 😅

WillyBanjo · 21/01/2025 03:11

To answer your question it could be either or both your ability to Orgasm though PIV and the combination of the two of you together.

From experience I’m am average size and have had PIV where her orgasm was easy to achieve even without extra clit Stimulation and I’ve had PIV where there was never an orgasm. Same size cock same human attached different women.

Genuinely don’t know what goes on. My take is that it was their ability to Orgasm that varied as I was the stable factor and that it my size for some was irrelevant but for others could of been a factor (at least one dumped me for cock size 😥) What I do think is when PIV orgasm was easier I was probably lazier.

Some times try before you buy works out. Sometimes you never miss what you’re never had.

ps impressed that you did OMGyes when things are great.
