I am unexpectedly back into the dating pool again and wondering what to do with my pubes?
I know for many years they have been out of fashion and the bald look was the default option. Personally, I don’t like shaving but also don’t want to send a potential partner running either. So what is your current style? If you could just say smooth, trimmed or full bush along with your age to give me an idea of current trends, that would be a big help. Thanks x

52 & it's neatly trimmed short, I just shave my bikini line.

It really doesn’t matter what a man wants, it’s what you feel most happy with. If a man runs from the hills then he’s not worth your time in any case.

as a nearly 40 year old male, I couldn’t give too hoots, although if it’s trimmed a little around the lips so I don’t get a mouth full of hair when i give oral that’s preferred.

Personally, I think it’s a myth that men like completly hairless and that’s probably down to porn but it’s really not true. Nearly trimmed is probably what you’d find is most preferred from a man’s POV and I think the same probably goes for the other way around?

I've been smith for over twenty years and this year I grew it back. Dh loves it and I just trim it now

50 and smooth

42 and smooth had IPL done a few years back. I had a full bush until I was around 32 then I met my husband and has a definite preference of smooth, I did it as a treat for him and found I was indifferent so though since it didn’t matter to me and he preferred it, I’d keep it smooth for him

40+ trimmed

I’m 44 and have a full Hollywood with everything off every 8 weeks. it makes me feel sexier but is nothing to do with sex- my oh is indifferent to the pubes situation and to sex in general tbh

I was on cam once to a couple and the male said would be better if my bush was shaved. I ended it straight away my body my choice.

60 just keep my garden tidy & minimal x

Middle age and smooth and have been for many years. My DH much prefers and his view was always that men tend to definately prefer but as ever there will be some that not.

My newly dating friends, although mid 40s had the view that smooth was def preferred ( didn't enquire of the details) but mix between shaving and waxing.

And single, so it's about how it makes me feel. For me, a full bush feels very not sexy.

40 something (l stopped counting at 40 😀) and looking at my naked self in a mirror, l can’t remember what l looked like with pubic hair. It’s not for me!

Inspired by my elder sister, since l was about 19, I’ve gone from shaving, a quick daily whiz round with a razor using hair conditioner (the razor then glides) in the shower, to monthly Hollywood waxes; sometimes l get fed up with the regrowth and shave again, but my beautician tells me off. I think it’s important though if you find a good beautician to stick with her.

So, l’ve been hair free throughout my 20s and 30s to present day. I’ve even been asked to grow it by some individuals; refused!

For me it’s not fashion driven, I don’t do it for anyone else, it’s how l choose to be. I’ve rambled, but OP, it really is for you to choose how you feel.

52 and I shave once a week. I've never had anyone complain, but if they didn't like the stubble I'd say tough shit - my body, my choice. Don't be fooled into thinking that smooth is what all men prefer. I once had a boyfriend who said he loved full bushes (again, tough shit to him) and another who said he likes a bit of hair down there. I have never commented on or cared whether or not men have pubes and I do not expect them to comment on me.

Of course to an extent. I said that figuratively speaking. But it’s very minimal; a month’s regrowth is very little. If l were to be 100% accurate l suppose l could have said l can’t remember what l looked like with a bush.

53, smooth, Hollywood every 6 weeks or so

Mid 40's, smooth. Hollywood every four weeks.

Mid fifties, full bush but sometimes I trim on a whim. DP loves me, whichever. Sometimes he shaves, sometimes not. I couldn't care less.

I used to shave the bikini - then I got an ingrown hair. Which grew into an abscess in about 24 hours. Off to minor injuries unit, a cut and drain that took a couple of weeks to heal properly. The nurse told me it was pretty common in those who shave....

Which device do you use please?
