I am unexpectedly back into the dating pool again and wondering what to do with my pubes?
I know for many years they have been out of fashion and the bald look was the default option. Personally, I don’t like shaving but also don’t want to send a potential partner running either. So what is your current style? If you could just say smooth, trimmed or full bush along with your age to give me an idea of current trends, that would be a big help. Thanks x

Bush with occasional trim when it gets too much. No way could I be bothered to spend any more time (or money!) on it than that. I've been out with people who prefer hair and others that prefer none. To me no hair looks like some sort of creepy dead plucked chicken, i don't like it at all. I also don't like shaved men <shudders>.

Boyfriend shaved me when I was a teen - loved the sensation but hated regrowth. In more recent years (early 50s now) it’s been to the salon for all off waxing

Getting a mouthful of hair during oral isn't exactly sexy, but it wouldn’t be a dealbreaker if she’s the right person. If a guy runs for the hills over an untidy garden, then he’s not worth it.

My understanding of men, a big part is how I look....men are very visual creatures and he loves complimenting me just on a routine getting out of the shower and walking in the bedroom and seeing me. Nice to have the compliments

I prefer to be smooth for how it makes me feel. Husband doesn't bat an eyelid when I walk round naked or a lacy g string🙄

I use my bush like men use beards to disguise the lack of chin.
ive tried removing it and grew the bush back immediately. If men are visual creatures that would put anyone off.

I like to think most men will be thinking more about what behind your bush and the sensations on whichever part of their body they want to use 😳

54, full bush, sometimes shave or trim underneath. Have had a couple of people on dating apps etc tell me they prefer smooth, but have not had any complaints in real life!

Started shaving in my teens and then shaved it all off once for a holiday and found I liked it with no hair. Started to wax in my 20's and then got it all lasered a few years ago and so it doesn't grow back. Hubby had been shaving all for a long time now and I convinced him to get his all lasered too so now we are both smooth down there.

43, single, full bush, simply because I can't be arsed to shave, and when I have in the past, it itches like mad.

Mid 40s, lasered off.

The skin of the entire labia looks pretty much the same as the skin on the rest of my body now, no plucked chicken.

I had about 8 sessions to begin and a top up for 6 sessions about 3 years later. Barely anything ever comes back.

Late 20's, but same, both now lasered off. We are both very happy with no pubes. No itching, stubble or ingrowns and just smooth skin.

43 and trimmed, can’t stand being fully shaven and I prefer men not to be shaven too.

At the end of the day I don’t think men care too much, they obviously have preferences but they are not going to be bothered when it comes to getting sex.

I began shaving because my partner already did. Just seemed natural. Much prefer it now.

I trnd to find that the body quickly adjusts to anything new. So where as the first couple of waxes or shaves may cause itching, it completely stops if this becomes the norm.

33, Brazilian every 6 weeks... I stuck with just a trim for about 6 months last year while I looked for a new beautician, and I hated having hair. Sex (specifically foreplay/masturbation) feels a million times better to me when I'm smooth.

@BeenThere101 I considered IPL during my waxing break but everything suggests you shouldn't use it in the very most sensitive areas... Have you found it ok? I'm still tempted but nervous about it. I do love being completely smooth between my legs, not just bikini line etc.
