Going to first swingers club

Hi, on Friday night me and my partner are hoping to go to a swingers club for the first time. I am in my late 20’s and have wanted to go for a while. Has anyone got any advice for a newbie? We also have an evening planned next week where we are going to meet with a couple. This is my first time and feel so nervous. I also don’t know what to wear 🙈

Wear what you would wear for a night out round town.

Get yourself a drink and do some people watching. If people chat then be social. Doesn't mean they want to have sex with you.

Have a response ready if anyone asks you to join them. Anything from, "what a great idea" to, "we are just enjoying our own company tonight thank you". You could always chat about it between yourselves then go and find them, if you decide you want to take things further.

Have some rules for what you do and don't want to happen.

Don't overthink it. See it as a bit of an adventure.

Great advice already, but with the what to wear part I would check the club website in case there's any rules, for example a club I go to has the rule that if you are in the play rooms you need to be dressed down, so that means lingerie or naked. However not all clubs have this rule, but the website should have a guide as to what is acceptable. They all have lockers so you can take a few different outfits so you can gauge what others are wearing and take it from there.

Check the rules for that club but many have cloakrooms and lockers where you can leave your clothes. Take a little bag with condoms, wet wipes, breath mints. I always take sweets for energy and they're great to share!
