How often do you have sex?

40 ish year old here, sex maybe once a week at best. Curious as to how often people have sex in a week?

50’s, none this year , maybe once or twice last year, maybe on average once a year for the last decade?

Ideally for me (45), once or twice a week. Depends though, I do go to kink events where I may have separate sex sessions with different partners, on those occasions it's obviously a lot more.

About 4 or 5 times a week, sometimes more, sometimes slightly less.

Mid 40's, 3-5 times a week usually.

57F, probably 6 times this year but only on holiday. Currently nearly at end of holiday and nothing at all. I need to make changes, v unhappy with this

49, nothing in 3 years since I’m single, I do miss it very much

Have you spoken to your partner about it?

In my mid 50s and, for the last 6yrs of my marriage, not even once. In the 5yrs previous to that, maybe once every two or three months. In the 5yrs before that, maybe twice a month if I was really really lucky.

In my 40s, once or twice a week, a bit more on holidays

Early 40s - mostly everyday. Maybe odd day here or there we don’t.

40s, usually 2 or 3 times over a weekend, rarely during the week unless I have time off work.

Mid 40s, together 25 years - once or twice a week. Would probably like it more often but always knackered due to work, kids, life admin etc.

Varies for me - could be three times a week to almost so long between I nearly forget how to do it.

I’m much happier with more but we have mismatched sex drives unfortunately.

Every time we see each other - multiple times on those occasions

We don't live together but I usually spend 3/4?nights a week with him. We have sex every morning, some times the middle of the night and every evening too

Exdh possibly 1/2 a year when we were together

42, been with DH 11 years. We do it almost everyday. Hubby would like it even more, twice a day would be ideal for him but that would be too much for me.

M60, not for the last 18 months. Before that it had dwindled to once a year. I have tried to talk to DO about it but have given up.

Early 50s F usually once or twice a week. Happy with that.

Have you read mind the gap by Karen Gurney. It was recommended by someone on this forum and I read it and it opened my eyes so if you’ve not I’d give it a go.

It made me realise that we were having more than average (As are you) annd that quality trumps quantity. It also got me to shift my opinion of what I counted as sex away from PIV and to include other forms of intimacy as sex for us.

40's. Usually every morning when we wake up and in the evening before bed. We always try to have a 'marathon' session at least once a week.

we are often teasing each other so the sex is very much of how we are with each other we both love a cheeky feel
I am 59 and DW 65 together 13 plus years and both retired so lots of time to play
