Abdominal pain after Anal

BabyST · 23/03/2023 22:03

I’ve never had Anal before but today hubby and I tried it. There was no issues at the time but ever since I have been unable to stop passing wind, feel like I need a poo but can’t and have cramps. Is this normal?

Mischance · 23/03/2023 22:04

You tried it, now you know why most women do not want it.

HowAmIhereAgain · 23/03/2023 22:05

Yeah, because things aren't supposed to go up there.

Why have you reported me?

OP posts:
Nailsandthesea · 23/03/2023 22:11

Now you know why every single woman I know hates it - it’s not an orifice designed for a penis.

samsmum2 · 23/03/2023 22:11

@Fairymights reported for what??!

BabyST · 23/03/2023 22:12

Never Again lol it was a stupid spur of the moment idea 😂

TheRookie · 23/03/2023 22:14

It forces a lot of air up there so you'll just be farting it all out. #sexy

Cupofteaaa5 · 23/03/2023 22:16

Lol oh dear. I tried it once years ago and it gave me hemorrhoids. Awful!

HebeMumsnet · 23/03/2023 22:24

Evening, everyone. We've had quite a lot of reports on this thread so we're just sticking our head in to say that we've no reason to think this OP isn't genuine. We have, however, moved the thread over to the Sex topic. We think the OP might get some more targeted responses there and it seemed like it was taking people by surprise over in General Health.

Fromwetome · 23/03/2023 22:26

Reported. Third post in two days about anal sex ffs. We have a whole sex topic and anal sex is NOT a women's health issue.

@HebeMumsnet sorry for causing a stir and posting in the wrong place

Depends what you mean by normal.

Mermaidparades · 25/03/2023 06:47

@BabyST I’m sorry you received such judgey and unnecessary comments! Anal sex can certainly lead to passing wind, it’s just from the thrusting action and nothing to be concerned about. Did the cramps you had dissipate? Did they feel like cramps you have experienced before E.g menstrual/ upset tummy? I hope you’re feeling much better now!

StarlightLady · 25/03/2023 10:14

I echo the thoughts of @Mermaidparades .

To add that anyone who argues that any type of pain after any sort of sex is not a women's health issue is wrong.

Finally, I would suggest any future participation is taken more slowly and gently.

BabyST · 25/03/2023 11:34

@Mermaidparades @StarlightLady thank you both for your reply’s. Yes I had a lot of passing wind, lots of feeling the need to poo but not and lots of horrible cramps worse than period pain on the left side of my abdomen. I had some pain last night but today has been much better thankfully. I’m 39 and I think it’s our first and last time probably trying it. Thank you lovely ladies for the reply’s xx

I have never had that after anal. Sometimes feel a bit sore. Not all women hate it. I quite enjoyed it the few times I’ve done it with my boyfriend. Not as much as him I’m sure!

BabyST · 27/03/2023 14:49

Thank you for all your reply’s. I think I have had a rather traumatic post sex experience. The pain continued intermittently and I have just had my first poo since. I don’t think it’s for me lol

Mermaidparades · 27/03/2023 15:08

Oh love, you poor thing!! I don’t blame you at all for not liking anal, you’ve had a dreadful experience.

You said that it was a spur of the moment thing, for good anal you need to take a softly softly approach and build up to it over a couple of weeks with lots of lube. Then on the day the anus should be gently massaged and stretched again before inserting the penis. You push out as the penis is inserted through the inner sphincter. The experience is intense, and often orgasmic.

Anal isn’t necessary for a vibrant and fulfilling sex life and I hope you’re able to still enjoy piv with your partner.

BabyST · 27/03/2023 17:00

@Mermaidparades thats likely where we have gone wrong. It’s been a horrendous experience. I’ve been reading about terrible things so I am thankful I’ve just had some awful pain and constipation. We are definitely going to stick to our normal routine from now on

Yeah, because things aren't supposed to go up there.

Ha. Don't go into hospital for constipation or as a result of going to surgery, whatever you do.

You won't like it.

They don't deal with constipation in the 'cutting edge' of most other things. nope, they happily stick suppositories up there daily......

Having a small suppository inserted for a medical need is whole different thing to having anal sex. Grow up.

Reciprocate and see if he enjoys it so much then 🙄

BCBird · 13/04/2023 19:09

I agree that not all women.dislike it..ha ha re strap on.and return the favour🤣

Rieslinger · 14/04/2023 13:07

My DW and I have taken the plunge over the last year (still not our mainstay and may never be but who knows) as we wanted to broaden our horizons together, try new and hopefully exciting things and we have on the whole enjoyed it.

For us it's probably more of the supposed 'naughty' nature more than the physical pleasure per se and am very happy when my DW reciprocates.

@BabyST I am so sorry that you had a bumpy ride first time my DW and I have both had one each when we got carried away in the moment, but we have found that LH's thick lube helped a lot.

Hope you are ok.
