Squirting

Does anyone want to talk about squirting? I don't care for a debate about what substance it is (mainly cos I don't actually know) 😆

But squirting ....... how amazing is it when it happens?! 😍😃

There was a study done at Columbia in the 2000's but I can't find it.

Dustyplumber · 07/02/2022 19:03

Hi, I agree it is definitely not peeing I don't care what the study says.

I know when a guy did the two finger G spot thing on me, (as described by previous posters) he made me squirt for the first time in my life. I was not expecting it and it was exquisite. Totally odourless clear liquid, done without penetration.
And he said a previous girlfriend had TAUGHT him how to do it- (I defo owe her a debt).

Or dont buy into misogynistic porn fantasies. I forgot it's mumsnet where women don't enjoy sex, they just do it for men, they can't possibly enjoy it (unless of course its missionary with the lights off and eyes closed).

claiming to have some other (than the bladder) mysterious font 'down there', capable of spraying decent quantities of liquid, is literally on a par with claiming that, rather than your eyes, you use say your left thumbnail for seeing with, or that you eat through your ears, it's just blatantly impossible. recognizing that isn't in any way about being prudish or frigid.
Josephsrose · 08/02/2022 18:28

What is the name of the glands that make your vagina moist when aroused then? Where does the secreted liquid come from?
Salivary glands moisturise food when we chew it, Merkel's disks and Meissner's corpuscles are the nerve endings super-concentrated in the penis tip and clitoris.
What's the answer? The body makes vaginas moist, in its beautiful and complex way.

foxgoosefinch · 08/02/2022 20:02

As I mentioned upthread, vaginal lubrication is a liquid produced from blood plasma by all the vaginal skin cells. Not glands, interestingly!

Josephsrose · 08/02/2022 20:35

Absolutely fascinating! My A -level in human biology did not reach me that!

foxgoosefinch · 08/02/2022 21:00

It’s quite fascinating - there are some interesting medical papers on it if you Google. I find the connection between the psychological and physical really interesting so it’s quite amazing that just our thoughts can make skin cells do that!

No idea if squirting is piss or not. Until recently, I knew about squirting but had never experienced it or particularly aspired to do it. Few months ago, was enjoying the most amazing foreplay with DP and had the longest lasting/most intense orgasm, and suddenly bed was wet. I was initially mortified, thinking I'd urinated but DP was adamant that he'd seen it gush from vagina as i orgasmed. There was definitely no smell of urine on the sheets. Since then we've both hoped it would happen again but it hasn't, and it's sort of put a dampener on what was a very fulfilling sex life. Can you learn to do it or is it completely involuntary?

EllaVaNight · 09/02/2022 01:21

puffyisgood I haven't made any such claims so I'm unsure why you're trying to make out like I have? Whatever it is who cares if two consenting adults enjoy it?

Kittykat93 · 09/02/2022 10:23

Amazing that women on here don't know the difference between a vagina and a urethra..yet are still arguing that squirting isn't pee 🤦 we are not talking about vaginas getting wet. We are talking about women spraying large volumes of liquid from the urethra during sexual activity. That is piss. Whether it's watered down and doesn't smell or taste of much or whatever, it is urine. All this 'ive tasted it and it doesn't taste like piss' piss when well diluted with water doesn't really taste of much. There is absolutely no discovery to date of a place in a woman's body that is separate to the bladder but connected to the urethra that can hold and expel large volumes of liquid. It does not exist. I enjoy squirting occasionally!! I am not against it at all! But everyone has to face the facts.

Anotherbloke1 · 23/02/2022 18:26

Partner has only squirted once whilst giving her oral. But even without squirting she cums every time.

Anotherbloke1 · 23/02/2022 21:37

Partner only squirted once during oral, took me by surprise but didn't put me off...she was enjoying herself which is main part for me. Even without squirting my face gets soaked as she cums every time and I love it just like she likes to swallow too.

Men have urethras and both semen and pee come out of them - yet semen and pee are not the same thing. Why wouldn't the same apply to women? The liquid emitted from squirting has been shown to be generated by the Skene's glands.
Athrawes · 28/02/2022 08:18

It happened to me for the first time (51) this weekend! Felt like a warm rush but very sudden and not at all like having a wee. Only happened when I was in top.
Tried the same thing the next day, same results.
Lots of laundry!
I think I would rather it didn't happen to be honest. Whilst pleasant it was not an orgasm and a wet bed was rather a passion killer.

bowtieandheels · 19/03/2022 13:10

Yep similar to previous posters it feels like it's coming from the vagina and often happens with no penetration so it's nothing to do with pressure on the bladder.
My partner says he can feel something swelling at the top of my vagina when he has his fingers in me, then it's almost like a second orgasm when it gushes.
It's not water sports as it's not me pissing for kicks, and for me and my partner it's nothing to do with pressure from porn, I feel that attitude cheapens a wonderful thing.

Doesn’t a man’s cum have some pee in it as well? I very rarely visit the sex boards nowadays but when I do there’s usually a post about squirting and there’s always people trying to make others feel like shit about it by saying they’ve just pissed themselves in bed. I don’t get it?

All other sexual experiences are live and let live and enjoy it but for some reason squirters are to be put back in their box as if they are only doing it for the men? If someone came on her and said they enjoyed watersports they wouldn’t get this kind of negative response.

I’ve squirted, it doesn’t smell like pee or anything at all, even the next morning, and I have spent a lot of time sniffing the bedding because some people seem to want to make this event that feels amazing for me into something I should feel embarrassed about. There’s never loads of threads about the wet patches men create.

Hope all the squirters out there are loving it as much as I do 💦

It's a lot of sour grapes is what it is.
Opentooffers · 24/03/2022 11:57

OK, so this only started happening occasionally from turning 40 - sex really does get better with age. I was surprised the first time and can definitely say its not urine, it's clear, has no urine smell and a slightly slippery texture. So all those banging on about waterworks are just talking BS, but don't really know as haven't experienced it - not many do, it's an odd thing, so yes all those sex workers probably were mimicking it by using their piss for the saddo men using their services and thinking its more than just work to them- doubtful they get turned on enough for it if at all, it's just work.
It's not prostatetic fluid - women don't have a prostateHmm. It's from the Skeine gland, it is a thing. I'd have to be touched in a certain way, when feeling particularly horny (most likely around ovulation) and even then its hit and miss. I wouldn't say its an earthshattering moment when it happens though, orgasms are much more intense, so if it doesn't happen, you're not really missing out greatly.

GentlemanJayFab · 24/03/2022 12:25

@MrsBerthaRochester

Its piss. I have been in a sex club with women who say they squirted and the rooms stunk of piss. If you want to piss yourself then get your dp to finger you violently. That should do the trick. Or dont buy into misogynistic porn fantasies.
That's interesting. From my experience of women who can, it doesn't smell of pee.
Annabelle96 · 12/04/2022 06:31

All I can think about is the mess it would make and having to clean up afterwards!

bowtieandheels · 12/04/2022 09:28

I feel like I must clarify something. What you see in porn with loads of liquid shooting across the room and spraying everywhere is not squirting, it's pissing.
When I squirt it doesn't spray across the room it just gushes out and is really not a huge volume of liquid, sometime it can be just a trickle other times more like a plate sized wet patch on the bed. And since this thread (as previously I couldn't care less) my partner and I have been much more observant about where the liquid comes from, in my case (as with a few posters above) it's the Vagina. This doesn't mean I don't know the difference between my urethra and my vagina, it might mean the scientists don't know everything there is to know about the vagina...which wouldn't surprise me at all.
So, as I said before, for me and my partner this isn't water sports as it's not me pissing for his kicks. It's not pressure from porn or for me to perform in some male fantasy, it's a seriously pleasurable release that happens when I'm very turned on and am lucky enough to have a partner who now knows exactly how to touch me to get me there.
It's a marvellous thing!
