I'm 44 and in the middle of a horrible, soul destroying divorce which has utterly battered my confidence. I'm not in the right place for a relationship but I miss sex and intimacy soooo.... having read some threads on here, I joined Fabswingers (hate the name, makes me think of weird orange, wrinkly sex people) and have made a date to meet a man this weekend, just to see if we click. Public place meeting, no expectations of more just yet. Please can you tell me if
a) this seems safe
b) this makes me a sad, desperate old slapper
c) ridiculous

What does upset me are all the images that other women put on there to sell themselves .... not sure why they do it ?!?
And if I thought about that for too long, and the type of guys that find all that stuff slightly attractive, then wouldn't want to be associated with any of them.... but I don't participate in any of that but maybe I am a hypocrite for thinking that way and being on there 🤷‍♀️
Anyway ... happy fabbing to those of us who are persevering with it 😬

But actually If you talk to the men on there, the decent ones don’t generally like those images

My first meet tonight. I've certainty had some awful rude messages, but blocked and turned off emails once I'd had a few chats with seemingly decent ones. Excited but nervous!

That's true ... I was reading a thread on the forum asking opinions on the photos and the majority were in agreement - clothes on !!!!
I'm the same ... I like the pictures of men in sharp suits 😬

I’m sorry to hear the OP has had a bad time. I thought women would have no problem meeting good guys on FAB (obviously after sifting though all the chaff). With regards face pictures I’d never put mine on there as a) I just don’t want to be recognised (and yes I’m separated so am ‘allowed’ to be on there) but b) I understand from other adverts that a lot of pictures on that site get used for fake profiles elsewhere in cyberspace and I really don’t want my face pic banded about. Quite what sort of pic you do use is a good question, it doesn’t take long to work out what most guys decide on.
Anyway, as posted elsewhere on here, I’ve not got on so well on that site and I only ever get guys looking at my profile 😂🙄

OP, sorry to hear you had such a bad experience on FAB. I found the same when I tried it - pushy guys who were too full on.

I've since joined Killing Kittens and it is the polar opposite. Their motto is "It's a Kitten's World" and any men who are lewd or disrespectful are kicked out! Recently a guy who asked one of the girls her bra size was given a real telling off by the other guys!

It's typically for swingers - fabulously decadent parties if you want to explore - but I've found it to be an amazing community of women and men who all understand that open, honest communication about desires and needs is paramount. I've had a few amazing private meets with Toms who I've got to know on the group chats. It's still NSA sex but without the hook up mentality. I've also met an inspiring group of women who aren't ashamed of their sexuality and support each other.
