Which vibrator and where?

NC as embarrassing question.

I've been single for nearly 6 months and climbing the walls now so need a vibrator.

I've never had one before and heard there are so many different types 😳

Any recommendations and where do I get one from? Last thing I want is to get one delivered and it says what it is all over the packaging for the postman to see!!

@chips4teaplease

Please advise what the sticker said, with pics if possible, and exactly what happened when you complained to your local sorting office?

But be aware that the mail office will scan every package.
Don't be so ridiculous. They don't scan every package - can you even imagine how long that would take? They wouldn't be able to identify the contents by scanning it. There are no stickers that give the contents away. I have had dozens and dozens of Lovehoney deliveries - there is absolutely no indication on the outside of what is inside.
Some postmen will be familiar with the Lovehoney packaging, though it is a plain box, but the only way they could know the contents is by opening it - and that would be illegal.

It is possible there's some confusion here re. scanning?

ie: some are imagining the x-raying of the contents (plainly ridiculous) whilst others are talking about the postman using his handheld barcode scanner to register it's been delivered as he hands it to you on the doorstep (far more plausible).

incogKNEEto · 02/09/2017 12:28

All parcels are scanned with the handheld reader by the posties, the square barcode/barcode is what is scanned. There are no x ray scans as far as l know Grin. Lovehoney boxes are plain brown and have LH Trading on them as the sender, and the postie will only know what that is if they use lovehoney themselves...

"some are imagining the x-raying of the contents (plainly ridiculous) whilst others are talking about the postman using his handheld barcode scanner to register it's been delivered as he hands it to you on the doorstep (far more plausible)."

The post we are taking issue with said:

" the mail office will scan every package.
My postman arrived doubled up with laughter on many occasions, during my 'lovehoney' phase (I was off work sick for six months, on full pay). He actually refused to give me one parcel, saying 'It must be for a man!' as it had condoms in it."

Don't think that is suggesting the postie just scanning it to show it was delivered.

The scan the postie does does not show what is inside it.

The reason I am picking up on this is that it is important people know they can buy intimate items in confidence without their [criminal] postman digging around looking at the contents.

LH packaging is completely plain, absolutely nothing on it, no stickers , nothing.
