Yes, we're in the morning on Saturday, 21st.

@KindergartenKop I have prepared myself for the 10th ... will take day off work (I would not be very productive otherwise) and book a nice restaurant for the evening. Whatever happens, it will be the end of the process and DD has been a star.
I find the waiting really frustrating even knowing that we are luckier than most as we have an offer from a school we really like, but the process is still stressful.

@MaryleboneParent are there senior girls around to make the girls comfortable during interview wait etc? Also do kids go wearing uniform or casuals?

@KindergartenKop @Daydreamscometrue I know myself too well and the temptation risks being too strong. Plus not being at work is the only way to collect my DD from school that day ...

Emanuel aren’t due to send out all their interview date confirmations until close of play tomorrow by the way

As far as I know, no students will be in school those days. For our daughter’s interview she sat and waited for the teacher to come and get her. He did come out afterwards, to say hello to my husband, but I think that was a one off. If it’s at a weekend, I wouldn’t think they need to wear uniform, especially as SPGS don’t wear a uniform.

I believe Putney came out pretty early last year. Possibly the Monday or Tuesday 2/6 or 2/7.

I just checked my email - Putney came out 7Feb last year.

So perhaps Putney will come out on the 6th!

Less than a month and the waiting will be over. What a long process!!!

If I recall rightly, some of the girls schools (PHS, Surbiton, maybe LEH) sent the results some 2-3 days earlier. Of course, not sure this year.
I think that PHS cryptically refers to mid-Feb

He didn't go to Tiffin so I'm afraid I don't know about sets etc. I'm afraid.
I'm sure he would have been absolutely fine academically if he'd gone there though.

An oft repeated question. Did anyone figure out how many girls does LEH interview? And what are the chances of securing a place after getting an interview call? Thanks.

At the open day for LEH the head said they get c500 applicants and interview 50-60% for 60-70 places.

Brilliant! 250 or more applicants for max 70 seats. I should probably walk around wearing “I love 11+” jumper.

Still better than Emanuel - more than 600 for 96 places!
But I know what you mean... we all got so excited getting to the final stage (and rightly so!) to then find that the numbers are still high.

Highgate has 1000+ applicants for 80 places this year

The head was at pains to point out that LEH won't be first choice for a lot of those who are interviewed and not to get freaked out by the numbers!

@LondonMum20222 Agree, best to focus on likely number of offers (which, for many schools will be twice or more the number of places). Even for Emanuel, that is inviting more than 600 for 96 places, it would not surprise if they offer or shorlist some 40-50 pc of those interviewed.

Taking through huge numbers reflects a need to substantially over offer and have a deep waitlist I think
