Is it bad for a child to be put on behaviour report? Something I’ve never taken lightly but starting to think that maybe it’s not that bad considering the amount of pupils on it in my sons year

I have endless phone calls and emails from school about Ds1. Saying he's so bright, capable of so much more. I know he's a PITA and I feel sorry for his teachers.
I support the school and Dh and I talk to him and talk to him. Punish him and punish him. Take away phone and x box and say he can't go to a party.
It makes no difference. It's very frustrating.

Reading some of the earlier posts about :

Make sure he's getting enough sleep and breakfast.

I thought: are you serious? Of course I do that. Do you really think it's that basic.

Clearly these people don't have the child I do: a very difficult child.

I can't wait till the whole schooling is over. Ds1 gets s job and leaves home. Whereas, Ds2 is a dream. Never a problem. Easy.

It must differ from school to school the amount of pupils and reasons. It seems many parents attempt to make their child (who is on report) seem like an angel. I’m aware that in most cases parents are trying their best but some kids just don’t listen and that’s the worst thing. I’ve tried everything for my son but nothing works and this is the point when most people give up but you can’t give up on them you have to keep trying
