Keen to hear impressions of Tiffin girls. We have visited Surbiton, but not Tiffin - and now we have to decide between them

I have a DS at Tiffin boys and his classmate has a sister at Surbiton. I'm very friendly with this mother and she is happy with Surbiton and happy with Tiffin boys for her son. Equally I have met many girls from TGS because they often mix in the music concerts and drama productions with Tiffin boys and the ones I've met have been really lovely girls. You're in a good position. If it were me, I'd go with Tiffin. You can't beat the academic rigour and I've found the pastoral care at the boys school to be excellent. My friends daughter didn't get into Tiffin which is why she's at Surbiton. What's the difference in the commute? That might factor into your decision. Good Luck.

Cats100- I'm sure that is small minority. I don't know any kids who hang out in Kingston on a Friday or Saturday night. None in my circle. And that could be applied to any school in any part of the country. Also, I'm always concerned when people categorise women's behaviour into 'what she is like as a lady'. What does that even mean???
