Hello Terf Don't listen to the rumours on other threads, we're lovely over here with a complete mixed bag of DC.

Loose If she can't get a grip & struggle through 45 minutes, she's obviously a lot worse than the hospital & physio think & she shouldn't have played tennis for 4 hours on Saturday, coached for an hour on Monday, another hour last night & two hours planned for this evening! Little sympathy here.

Possibly, I can't speak for all of them but DD said a few were the cleverer ones, maybe it all got a bit too much.

On the contrary DD found it ok as she had learnt all the poems.

Terf description is definitely a good option. I bet he did well. Your DS has my sympathy for Friday - not nice to put 2 heavy writing exams together!

Yes DD hanging in there - it's me who is becoming a bit precious about things!

I might have developed a bit of resilience by the time DD1 is doing A Levels (while DD2 does GCSEs!). urgh!

kyrenia oh no, that is a shame. DS hasn't reported anyone getting stressed at his school. Someone apparently didn't write anything at all in one of the English exams but they were the opposite of stressed, if you see what I mean!

Yes - the school posted TWO prediction papers (for tomorrows exam based on what was already covered in Paper1 )...probably so that they could practice enough questions...

They were sent out on the 25/5 - so I guess they felt that there was more than enough time to cover both...although DD only brought this to my attention last week..

DD is now working her way through the papers. Timing was excellent since She had literally just finished going all the way through the text book and had run out of past papers.
I thought there was only chemistry left after maths tomorrow but I had completely forgotten the 2nd Eng Lang paper on Friday. Just as well she’s not relying on me!!!!!!

I shall be oddly relieved when dd has a maths paper tomorrow. With the half term gap and then no exams from Monday to Wednesday, we have been in a strange half way house exam stress limbo

Hi - I have sent the papers out to everyone who sent an email address...if I dont have an email address there is no way of sending the PDF's.
