How did everyone kids think the exams went today... Mine thought some of the biology was tricky... English ok... Not sure on History

Thanks everyone. Seems he's borderline. Got 63% overall and the school ask for 65% with most boys getting 70%. We did our bit and reckon he might be in! Phew

What happens if as child does not get into the preferred school? Is it like Uni with reserve offers or do you have to apply now to another school? Just trying to understand the system.

Our head of next school upsy days that she has only had a couple of kids in this situation and she was literally driving them to alternate schools for interviews. I think your current school will make calls for you to likely schools to set up meetings, and send over scores, CV, etc.

Friday we get told officially but I reckon they'd have told us a definite "no" today if it was bad news.....

We had a call from our HM telling us to open the bubbly! He passed! All good here. Fingers x for everyone. Now just can't wait to see him and give big hugs (feeling emotional) xx

Got results! Pleased for him, he worked steadily and sees it paid off. Got an A in a subject he has never got an A in but got a C in a subject he has never got a C in... I guess that's why we worry about exams. Overall v happy. Teta and TisGlorious any news?

Yay! Fantastic news. DS got great results including a 'B' in Maths a subject we thought he would never crack. We're going to have a lovely weekend. Hope everyone is celebrating? can't believe it's all over.

Picked up tired and dirty child from his camping trip and the kids were given envelopes (parents had already been called).

Much whooping, cheering, hugging and tears (happy ones). What a lovely bunch of kids! Lump in throat!

Well done to all who found out Fri! I suppose this is the benefit of going to a Prep school? As in, there is a "procedure" of being told!
And here is me, still waiting : DS is not in a prep school, he is supposed to go to Eton in Sep but no idea if he has passed.
