Sorry to be slow but why is everyone so happy? I grew up in Scotland but have been away for 25 years so I'm a bit out of touch.

He’s allegedly misappropriated funds given by donors for the cause of Independence, something she is fanatical about. If she doesn’t feel utterly betrayed that tells us a story in itself.

@Catsolitude she will definitely. There have been rumours circulating about the Murrells "marriage" for years, Mr Murrell has now served his purpose and Sturgeon will indeed get rid. Think what you like of her (and I am far from a fan) she is a canny political operator and gives the public what they want to keep herself in the limelight. Being married to someone accused of fraud isn't a good look for someone who sees her next move into the international political arena with the EU or UN or something equally high profile.

Then, once freed from her "husband", she would then be free to be with whoever she chooses. Of either sex.
