So the 6th of August is fast approaching... here is the 2019 thread.

Ds was sitting a mixture of highers and Nat5's. So we'll see what this year brings.

I'm just grateful it's not 2 lots like last year as it was a mare.

DD3 1A, 2Bs, 2Cs she's pleased makes achievable conditionals likely. Will be trying to swap AH English for a Higher to optimise chances. DD4 6As, 2Bs no changed required for her. And breathe

4 As at advanced higher for DS - super proud mum !

I'm going to say it on here because I can't say it in real life. DD's results are in: Nat 5s - 2 As (English and Music) 1 B (Biology), 3 Cs. I'm disappointed with 2 of her Cs (maths and PE), pleased that she passed chemistry (C) as she struggled with it all year. She's a bright girl, maths is normally one of her better subjects. She's just pleased that she passed everything, I expected higher results, I need to give myself a wee shake!

Keeptrudging, it's easy to think that your child hasn't done well in the face of others brilliant results, but she has, she has 6 passes from 6 in her first ever set of exams. She now knows what they are like and gets an idea of her strengths so she can plan her next steps.

Wondering how they send the texts that some people have them by 8.02 and we're still waiting at 8.48. And it's not like our surname starts with Z or something either.

WaxOn, thanks, that's why I'm posting it on here, so I can put that thought away. She's a high achiever outwith school (music/sports), it's not always been easy for her to balance study with training/bands, this just shows me she needs to timetable study time better. She's dropped 1 competitive sport, hopefully that will help for highers.

Daughter has surfaced but still no email, text or post.

2016 results, Ds1 signed up for texts and didn't get it until the afternoon. No idea why but his next year's one's were just after 8.

4 A’s and a B (Chemistry). I’m delighted! He’s disappointed but knows it should be good enough for the courses he’s interested in.

Aww thanks Alittle - i'm welling up now. Congrats to all our DC, life is pretty tough sometimes for them and they are under a lot of pressure. Hopefully we are helping to alleviate the pressure a bit despite our impatience!

Three As, a B and two Cs - and she passed Nat 5 maths and physics which she was sure she wouldn't (already signed up for the resit so will need to look at that).

Email not through till after 9 though.
