Going to an engagement party tonight. I was really excited, dh and I have had a few shitty stressful months.
I bought a new dress (pictured below), feel pretty confident in it etc.

Turns out the party is in the Rangers social club.. they're not gonna let me in are they?!

Ffs Catholics and Celtic supporters are Masons. Do you mean Orange Halls?

MrsJayy · 28/07/2018 16:49

Dress is lovely I just couldn't get over how green it is are the couple/family Rangers fans or are they just hiring the hall ? Och who cares it will be fine and dark

MrsJayy · 28/07/2018 16:53

. Do you mean Orange Halls?

Of course i meant that I am not sure why I got a ffs everybody would have known what I was on about.

IHaveBrilloHair · 28/07/2018 16:54

Gorgeous dress but oh fuck, you can't wear it!

readsalotgirl63 · 28/07/2018 17:19

Sorry for slight derail but I always understood that the Catholic Church did not approve of Catholics being members of the Masons.

MrsJayy · 28/07/2018 17:28

Catholic church doesn't approve of freemasonary.

Threeminis · 28/07/2018 17:52

Right, dh has called the groom to be..

His answer was "it'll be fine, if there's any hassle we'll just kick their heads in"

I'm gonna brave it..

That's what I thought so was surprised at comment by ledehe

readsalotgirl63 · 28/07/2018 17:54

So you won't find many Catholics in either Masonic halls or Orange Lodges

AsAProfessionalFekko · 28/07/2018 17:58

It's a lovely dress - where's it from?

PaddysMarket · 28/07/2018 18:06

Dress is lovely but you've also posted your name in the photo.

HaveTeaWillSurvive · 28/07/2018 18:14

Ooo shit, you're just going to have to style it out if there's no other option and it is a fabulous dress. Stick together though, I have been surprised in the past how much this stuff matters to some people Sad

DiaryofWimpyMum · 28/07/2018 18:20

Lovely dress, I hope you have a great time!

readsalotgirl63 · 28/07/2018 18:26

Dress is lovely - have fun !

Mossend · 28/07/2018 18:29

I also thought you wouldn't get accepted into the masons if you were Catholic but prepared to be told I'm wrong.
Lovely dress by the way

Threeminis · 28/07/2018 19:11

Ah.. fuck. So I have.
I'll ask them to delete it. (How do I do that??)

Here is me in the dress - minus my head.
The model looks much better than I do!
