Dad this is my 2nd fathers day without you
the first was last year 10 minutes after you left.
i was honered to hold your hand when you went ,but i miss you and i want to hug you and kiss you ,happy fathers day,
i never thought i would survive your death,but i have and i owe it to you ,you showed me real love and that .i know carries on with me even when your not here in person
i will plant a rose at your stone on fathers day ,but i know you are not there ...i have seen you standing leaning on the gate with your sleves rolled up smoking your old holbourn and smiling your smile ,,i miss you dad ..happy fathers day ..xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

for Dad.....i don't know where you are, if you are alive or dead, but i do think of you often.

I'm sitting sobbing here, and I'm not usually such a cry baby. I lost my darling dad 5 years ago next month. I wish he could have met his two gorgeous gc.

What a reminder to live and love for the moment , you just never know what life has in store.

Only just found this thread - have only read 3 posts & am crying my eyes out ......

I don't think I could be as articulate or as beautiful as some of these messages; but I'd like to say Happy Father's Day to my beloved foster dad, John. I miss his wonderful humour & his strong, calm, intelligent prescence. I can't believe it has been over 7 yrs since you left us so suddenly. Miss you evey day & love you more than you could know ......

gosh this is hard isn't it?
my 9th father's day without my dad. but still angry he left us too early and that he never got to see my children.
we do miss you and things are not the same without you.

Dad-in-law:

it'll be 7 years on wednesday since you left us.
we still all miss you terribly.
I wish you could have been here to meet the boy. he has your eyes.

thanks for starting this thread. i'm a day late in finding it...oops!
this is my 3rd year without dad. miss him all the time and i wish he'd been around to meet his first grandchild.
