DH drew on the wall. Do I ignore it or bite the bait?

Me and DH had a bit of a heated discussion earlier (not a full blown argument, just a slightly raised voice disagreement). I have just been downstairs to see that he has drawn a hitler picture on the living room wall in marker pen. He's now in the shower. HIGHLY unusual for him, he's never done anything so stupid or childish before. Infact if he wasn't the only one in the house right now, I wouldn't believe he had done it.

I don't want to argue anymore tonight, I'm so shocked at what he's done but I'm thinking if I ignore it, he'll come to his senses by morning and try and remove it himself? or am I being naive?

i definitely wouldnt have been able to ignore it myself as i am a bit of a tyrant to my DH sometimes and i ALWAYS win our arguments so it would be something i could imagi9ne my DH doing too

pmsl! love the idea with the bath towels, I'm going to lay a towel over the sofa in morning and when he asks why, I'll tell him I'm reserving it pmsl...he's so going to regret his art work lol

Get onto the German thread and ask them for some inimitable phrases to use on him!

TippytheTipsyTurkeychick · 20/04/2009 22:15

call him a Schweinhund, or a Meerschweinchen (means guinea pig but sounds very good). am trying to spell phonetically, apologies to all Germans everywhere.LOVE the idea of adding taches to all the mirrors and just never mentioning it again.
Do you not find it odd though that neither of you has said anything? I mean, its very funny but if he wasn't flaming drunk or jokingm it is an odd thing to do and insulting to say the least. will you tackle him do you think?
