Was just about to post that he still hasn't responded and it's been over an hour, when door bell rang. Dh has come home bringing lunch I really must do this more often, he's even brought dd a sandwich with her favourite filling

poshwellies · 18/11/2008 13:28

Tidgypuds · 18/11/2008 13:29

Me too macdoodle but it has made me smile for everyone. Hopefully when im ready for a lovely man I will be able to add.

Pinkjenny · 18/11/2008 13:30

I got, 'for god's sake, buy the coat, you've worn me down, and yes babe, i love you.'

Ha ha!

TheMuppetMuggle · 18/11/2008 13:30

still no reply

MorrisZapp · 18/11/2008 13:31

I got 'love you loads and loads! x'

I'm pleased with that. This thread is great! Reminds me a bit of that question they ask each week in the Saturday Grauniad: Have you ever said I love you and not meant it?

Obviously I do love DP but he'll never know my spontaneous expression of affection was prompted by a lark on MN and that his response is under the microscope of national female gossip!

I'm so happy the internet was invented

biskybat · 18/11/2008 13:31

poshwellies, love your dh's response

cheesesarnie · 18/11/2008 13:31

poshwellies and pinkjenny

downbutnotout · 18/11/2008 13:33

hmmm - dh has failed to respond. As I'm 30 weeks pg this may lead to emotional meltdown in the office. Must think more carefully before participating in these experiments....

bratnav · 18/11/2008 13:33

Waiting for a response but I know he went into a meeting an hour ago, so could be a while

Tillyscoutsmum · 18/11/2008 13:33

I got "Yay. Hey I love you too beautiful. Are you looking forward to being mrs c ? I am xxxxx"

I'm assuming he means he's looking forward to getting married (next Saturday) and not actually contemplating a sex change

squeaver · 18/11/2008 13:35

Posh - aw.

Pinkjenny -

As my dh is actually in the house right now, I should think he'd just come downstairs and give me a look like this x1000.

Tigerschick · 18/11/2008 13:35

LOL at the dilemma as to whether or not to confess ...

I told him straight off why I'd sent it
Didn't want him getting Ideas

Rhubarb · 18/11/2008 13:37

Erm, is lulumama on here? Because I just texted her with it by mistake.

TheMuppetMuggle · 18/11/2008 13:37
