I don't know what is quite happening here but.. Today, there Iam browsing in Primark(the only shop I can afford to buy clothes in)and some poor lad had his fingers caught in the lift. I just thought >>>>>>>>>>>. Anyway, about six months ago I was in another primark store when all of a sudden there was upraw.
. It turns out that a litle girl had fallen down the escalator whilst being in her buggy, it was horrible. I can't go back to sore. I also read that something happened to some poor child in Liverpool in a store over the holidays.Primark, take note improve your health and safety.....

But 'think you need to be more complacent' doesn't make sense in this context at all...does it?

[>>>>>>>>>>>>>]

charliechew · 03/10/2008 22:03

There's no context - just an issue of safety LOL.

OP posts:
expatinscotland · 03/10/2008 22:04

health and safety is no laughing matter.

charliechew · 03/10/2008 22:07

You are so right........

ObsidianBlackbirdMcNight · 03/10/2008 22:08

complacent is the wrong word. makes no sense in any context here. a child getting hurt cos their parent takes the buggy on the escalator is the parent's fault - and presumably a child getting their finger stuck in the lft is the child/parents' fault?
what a random pointless thread!

Blandmum · 03/10/2008 22:11

....so is the first husband called Mark?

She is worried about Prime Mark?

Confused

I think that it's gone that way....

OP posts:
charliechew · 03/10/2008 22:21

No I haven't, but if, some poor girl falls down escalator and some poor lad traps his fingers in the escalator, the only two times you have been there-then wouldn't you be worried?

OP posts:
expatinscotland · 03/10/2008 22:22

no

SlartyBartFast · 03/10/2008 22:23

yes, i would be worried.
why is everyone being -mean- awkward to op?

inkdrops · 03/10/2008 22:24

neither would I

Ewe · 03/10/2008 22:25

I think she meant compassionate not complacent!

Very very odd.

TiredOfBeingNumber84OnAnyList · 03/10/2008 22:26

A buggy shouldn't really be on the escalator.

Maybe I should be worried about escalators rather than Primark?

Or about the strangeness of this thread?

ruddynorah · 03/10/2008 22:29

why would you be worried?

keep your fingers away from the lift doors when they're closing, and don't take your buggy on the escalators.

jasmeeen · 03/10/2008 22:29

snobbery about primark?

cheesesarnie · 03/10/2008 22:29

i would worry that i was maybe cursed.maybe its when you visit????maybe if you stay away from primark there will be no more accidents?

MARGOsBeenPlayingWithMyNooNoo · 03/10/2008 22:32

D'you know, every time I go to A&E, there are injured people there? Usually I'm one of them - should I stay away? I usually go there to stock up on the scrummy vending machine treats.

mollymawk · 03/10/2008 22:32

charliechew are you worrying that all these things are somehow your fault?
(I only opened this thread to see why a Relationships thread was entitled "Primark")

zippitippitoes · 03/10/2008 22:36

oh i feel as i have dropped a tab

head explodes in rainbows

onepieceoflollipop · 03/10/2008 22:37

AuraofDora - "unwatched toddlers" - were there really a lot of unattended pre-schoolers?

I assume you sent a written complaint to Head Office after witnessing such odd and dangerous staff behaviours? What was the response/explanation?

onepieceoflollipop · 03/10/2008 22:38

I thought that it was virtually impossible to get your fingers caught in a modern lift? That is

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 03/10/2008 22:40

This is so bizarre.

What is going on.

My name has been sullied.
