I think this is really foul but maybe I have lived a sheltered life and it's just a PUNK thing...

A friends DP apparently asked her when they got together if he could spit in her mouth when he came - he was (well, still is) a punk but don't know if that is relevent - she was horrified and said n, never.

Well they have been having an awful time recently and after a protracted few weeks of hostitities they made up and when they next had sex he did this. Not a lot she said, but still a spit.

She hit the fucking roof, as you'd expect. She had almost had it with him before, now she can't stand him. I feels really sorry for her. For all of me and DP's problems he's never done anything so contemptuous - that's all I can think it is; truly hateful - ugh

This is not normal behaviour is it durig 'relations' is it??

Well, it's kind of icky but you exchange a fair amount of saliva when snogging anyway.

tryimg to work out the mechanics you would have to have your mout open ready but not be kissing tho? dont understand how this could be accomplished as non consensual unless he forces her mouyth open

I think it is less to do with being a punk and more to do with being a twat. Poor woman.

How bloody disgusting. It never ceases to amaze me what floats someone's boat.

I think it's demeaning, not necessarily a punk thing, but maybe an aggressive and contemptuous attitude towards women.

It's a bit ew, but not really that bad, it's just a bit of saliva. It's really disgusting that he did it even though she had said no though.

Seriously though, your poor friend. Wonder why she went back with him and why on earth he bothered asking the first time round if he was going to go ahead anyway regardless of her opinion - seems ironic/odd to ask someone?s permission to do something that unpleasant. It is like saying "please Miss, would it possible be ok if I totally disrespect and humiliate you in a really unpleasant way? I would be every so grateful..." just weird.

Obvioulsy it's not the saliva - exchanging saliva when kissing is not the same as being spat at.

Suely being spat at is a gesture of contempt - especially if you have made it clear you don't want it?

I have always thought him a bit odd anyway - get him talking and he reveals his crush on Charlie Manson (who he thinks is also innoent) and also the fact that he thinks Hitler did not know anything about the Holocaust

they have two kids. He used to be a herion addict but ghas been clean for about 8 years. They got together when she got pregnant 12 years ago but he didn't live with them until he was off heroin. I think she has tried to do the right thing for the kids but think he harbours really incompatible yearnings

Fuck all to do with being a punk and more to do with being a complete arsehole. And within our circle of punks being racist/misogynistic/homophobic is not tolerated and his views on Manson/Hitler would be enough to make the majority of people stay well away. Doing anything that the other person doesn't want is completely unacceptable. Pisses me off when people say they are punks in order to justify being wankers. To me punk is political and about living your life how you see fit, and a part of that is respecting other people's views and decisions. Sorry, rant over!
