oiwhatsoccurring · 14/08/2008 10:55

mamadiva, I got drunk with a friend about 6mths ago, when we were very pissed we kissed. As soon as I got home I told my hubby, he just said if there is a next time can I watch

oiwhatsoccurring · 14/08/2008 10:58

See it was a joke now. ah well who cares.

zookeeper · 14/08/2008 11:01

solidgoldbrass wht on earth is "the bisexual continuum"

Doesn't sound much of a fun place to be

mamadiva · 14/08/2008 11:12

LOL at oi atleast your DH took it well :.

I have a strange sense of humour I must say.

Interesting about the whole bisexual thing though wonder how many MNers have these thoughts LOL.

Hands up boys n girls!!!???

OP posts:
cocolepew · 14/08/2008 11:17

'hands up boys and girls'could get messy.

lizinthesticks · 14/08/2008 11:38

Did you like the taste of her cherry "chapstick

lizinthesticks · 14/08/2008 11:39

"solidgoldbrass wht on earth is "the bisexual continuum"

Doesn't sound much of a fun place to be"

Yes - much safer to be shut tightly in one of either two boxes.

solidgoldbrass · 14/08/2008 13:18

Zookeeper, well, imagine a scale of 1-100. At one end of it are the utterly, utterly heterosexual people (about 10-15%) at the other end are the utterly, utterly, homosexual people (again, about 10-15%.)
THe rest of us are all somewhere on that scale, most being nearer one end of it than the other but could perhaps be tempted by the gender that is not their usual preference.

Perhaps you are one of the 10% right up at one endL if so, fine, up to you, but no need to get your undies in a bundle about other people's choices.

mamadiva · 14/08/2008 13:23

SGB- I'm assuming that zookeeper meant that it doesn't sound very interesting when you put it like that 'The bisexual continuum' rather than just saying 'some people like to shag everything and anything regardless of gender' LMFAO

Spidermama · 14/08/2008 13:25

I had a fantastic snog with a girl which I will never forget. Yum.

My DH wouldn't mind. He'd probably perv out at the idea.

mamadiva · 14/08/2008 13:29

LOL at spidermama didn't think anyone would admit to it.

I haven't read this thread through but I will give you my personal view: I would find it FAR easier to come to terms with my wife being attracted to a woman. [My wife would probably find it easier to come to terms with me being attracted to a woman as well].

If it were just a snog with a woman then I think that I would chill about it. But I think some blokes would not be happy with this.

I guess it also depends on how the snogging with women impacted on our relationship longer term.

ToughDaddy · 14/08/2008 13:42

Sorry, the post above is badly phrased. It would be naive to expect my wife not to be attracted to other men- human nature would suggest that she probably is. I meant attracted to other men + snogging them.

bonkerz · 14/08/2008 13:53

i love this song, did she taste of cherry chapstick?

mamadiva · 14/08/2008 13:54

Hey TD, Post was just a bit of a laugh last night, had too much to drink so has just turned into a random conversation now LOL
Thanks for ythe male POV on things though nice to know for the future .

No I must say I'm not that way inclined so wouldn't venture there anyway.

"i love this song, did she taste of cherry chapstick?"

We call it "reading the thread" - try it some time.

ToughDaddy · 14/08/2008 14:41

Mdiva- thanks. I was about to tell you some more of my deeper thoughts :-).

zookeeper · 14/08/2008 14:41

solidgold brass that was uncalled for.

I'll leave you to your earnest patronising musings on "orientation" because it seems terribly important to you. I'll buy a compass if I need to know more - it mught I suspect be marginally more useful

I really couldn't care less who snogs whom or who shags whom as long as both parties are adults and happy about it. Why on earth from my posts you would assume I judge people for choices that are personal to them is beyond me

olympicsnotfederer · 14/08/2008 18:33

just caught up with this thread and turned out to be just a bit of fun on a boring weds night

I'm glad my musings were light hearted then as I had a feeling light hearted was called for.

now, if I was to confess my teenage fumblings with the same sex (varied and numerous that they were), would that bring the "worthies" out again ?? >

bonkerz · 14/08/2008 18:51

lizinthesticks????? I did read the thread and YES i knew it was fun so why the comment? I have been on MN long enough to know to read threads and also to recognise a 'im drunk' thread when i see one!

Tortington · 14/08/2008 18:53

my dp shagged a donkey. the donkey was up for it

lizinthesticks · 14/08/2008 19:27

"so why the comment?"

Cos someone else already said that. Doyoyoyoy.

olympicsnotfederer · 14/08/2008 20:30
