So my OH drops the bombshell whilst I'm talking about perimenopause symptoms that he no longer finds me attractive due to weight gain.

I am absolutely heartbroken and am now feeling more pressure to lose weight that just won't shift.

Our relationship has been toxic for a while and this feels like the last straw.

Just looking for a handhold and some strength to tell the nasty piece of work to shove it all.

Why is he recording you and then sending it back to you - why is he recording you at all? He sounds very nasty and spiteful in the things that he has said to you. Walk away with your head held high! 🌸

No idea why he recorded me. The recording was of me saying I'd had enough and to leave me alone. I don't know what the point was or what he was trying to prove.

He's trying to intimidate you, and goad you into retalliating. You're already confused so it's working. Go grey rock and get out.

If you stick around for much more of this you will end up not knowing which way is up. Make an appointment with a solicitor and get all your paperwork in order re your finances and get away from him and get some peace.

Maybe he’ll use it as an excuse to say you pushed him away if he is considering cheating. He’ll say, ‘you told me to leave you alone’

He sounds like a tool
