I saw an incoming video call on my husbands phone today.
It had a woman’s profile pic and name that I didn’t recognise, her fb profile shows that she lives in a country that he recently visited.
When I asked him about it he said he didn’t know her, later on he showed me these messages and said they were an anomaly of some sort and he didn’t send them. His name is not Kris.

How could they she on his phone if he didn’t send them ? Is this possible ?

Is this iPhone or android? What app is it?

Looks very much like he's sent those messages... though not sure why he'd rat himself out to you unless he was worried you'd already seen and thinks he can double bluff you.

PrueintheLoo · 24/08/2024 17:45

Yes she audio called then video called

You don't just get anomaly messages on your phone. He's trying to deceive you, thinking you won't know. He knows he's busted.

Violetandgreen · 24/08/2024 17:46

He sent the messages and whoever he sent them to has tried phoning him back

An "anomaly of some sort?"

He must think you're really, really stupid.

PrueintheLoo · 24/08/2024 17:48

No her name is not Kris

He has sent the messages? And he showed you that he has sent them.

I'm confused. Is he saying he didn't send them?

Starlight7080 · 24/08/2024 17:50

Maybe he told her his name is kris . He definitely wrote to her and now hoping you will buy the lie

TheBottomsOfMyTrousersAreRolled · 24/08/2024 17:51

How often has this sort of anomaly happened to you?

Aquamarine1029 · 24/08/2024 17:53

TheBottomsOfMyTrousersAreRolled · 24/08/2024 17:51

How often has this sort of anomaly happened to you?

Quite. I have owned many different phones over the years, and not one of them has ever written and sent messages on my behalf, multiple times, mind you.

OneTipsyDreamer · 24/08/2024 17:54

Looks like his Facebook has been hacked to me. Does the sentence structure and grammar look right to you? As the “you interest me” sounds very scammy,

BirthdayRainbow · 24/08/2024 17:55

He's give her a false name, met her there or found her on instagram. Thinks you're gullible.

coldcallerbaiter · 24/08/2024 17:56

She called out of the blue, and you saw- that is why he thinks he is busted.

LL1991 · 24/08/2024 17:59

He sent the messages in blue and gave her a fake name. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck…
sorry Op x

Crushed23 · 24/08/2024 18:01

FB Messenger shows your name from your FB profile, so how can he have given a fake name ‘Kris’? Can someone explain?

Has he changed his name on his FB profile, OP?

PrueintheLoo · 24/08/2024 18:02

Thanks everyone. I knew that he’d sent the messages and lied about it (he’s still lying).

@Crushed23 He won’t let me see his actual phone just a screenshot of the conversation I posted.

Why not just message her on Facebook with his pic and ask why she is messaging your husband. It would be a big coincidence to be a mistake if he visited her country recently. This woman may not know that he is married sounds like he has given her a fake name.
