I need to quit my job don't I?

I'm married but recently (last year) started becoming attracted to a colleague.

The job isn't good for my career but I'm finding it difficult to leave as I fancy him.

We both have young dc.

I don't hate my dh and nobody knows about my feelings.

He is senior than I am - he's never going to make a move is he? And I will need to leave.

If the job isn't good for your career and this is making it harder use it as an impetus to move on.

What do you mean you don't hate your husband?

Even if he did make a move I don't think I would leave my husband. I have made a commitment to him.

And if the shoe was on the other foot…your husband fancied someone at work, hoped they’d make a move but will stay because he made a commitment? How would you feel? How’s the other wife going to feel if something happens? What about the children? What sort of commitment allows emotional cheating if not going all the way? You need to take a long hard look at yourself, your marriage and do the guy at work a favour and find another job. IMHO

Yep! Time to move jobs. No point blowing up your family.

look. Look hard, look fast. Heck, what do you do and where? We will look for you!

Saying you don’t hate your husband is not the same as saying you love him.
Saying you don’t think you’d cheat is not the same as saying you definitely wouldn’t.
It sounds like you’ve romanticised the idea of an affair. In reality there’s no scenario where no one gets hurt. Grow up and put your crush to the back of your mind or move jobs.
