I want to get as many people to send nice messages. Please send nothing negative as I am printing this out and taking it to canada in 2 weeks to see our nanny (husbands grandmother, did alot of his raising.) Our gorgeous Nanny turned 106 in Feb. The woman pictured is my husbands much younger sister. This was nannys 106. She is sound mind (better than me to be honest) But she is very lonely. Please if you can find it in your heart, send a message here to this amazing woman and I will print off. I will report to have deleted any negatives . thank you all for these messages so far. Nanny is a crazy , fun , lovely woman. She always tells my husband (her grandson) that he needs to get his eyes checked, needs to watch his blood pressure! She isste an amazing Nanny to Us both.. and amazing great nan to our children.. and also to her great great grandmonsters. Nanny is an amazing woman.

Goodness me, what a wonderful nanny you have.! When you go and visit, please ask her about her memories of growing up in the last century. It will be so lovely to hear what life was like 100 years ago . Was your nanny born and bred in Canada? I absolutely love social history and would be truly interested of her recollections of life during the 1920s 30s 40s and 50s, especially. Would you like a pen friend?

@canttellyouwhereorwhatido nanny was born in Canada with roots (her parents and her husband ..our pops parents born in northern ireland (she laughs that her grandson married a belfast girl ..me .. lol). Pops flew planes for a very elite group during the war (there is a book about it) Nan stayed home and raised 3 girls, but was also a nurse that worked full time most of her life. Pops passed when our eldest daughter (his great grandkid) had just had her first child (our first grandchild) We took the few day old babe to the hospital. He was in a coma but we have a photo of her tucked in his arms. They were an amazing couple (she is still awesome) and stepped up when their kids did not .. they raised most of their grandkids

when we still lived in canada.. I would go to her house (or then her assisted living apartment) she always sent me home with so much crap lol.. I have kept most of it as it , especially the china tea cups and saucers, pictures of my husband as a baby then child. I did throw out his first wedding pics lol.. nanny doesnt have a mean bone in her body so I am sure she did not realize that it was in with the other pics. PS.. she told me.. She never liked his first wife and I am an amazing wife and mother. I married my husband when my daughter was 14 years old. He adopted her. Our Nanny welcomed her with open arms. She put her in our Pops obit as his granddaughter and named our granddaughter as pops great great granddaughter. She is amazing . I wish everyone had a clone of our nanny

my husband flies to canada on wed. He comes back to Dominican on Sunday and I fly on wed. I am staying 8 days so I can do some shopping and my grandmonsters have put in a 7 day menu LMAO.. their mother (our daughter) is not the greatest cook..but I am a certified chef that owned a landmark restaurant for years. Yep.. lasagna .. steak... turkey burgers.. chicken parm.. beef wellington. Yep my vacation to canada is just about ..WORK lol. but I will have a day with Nanny thank god. Will post pics

and you all have to admit..she is 106!!! she is gorgeous and still has the sparkle in her eyes.. love her so much
