I want to get as many people to send nice messages. Please send nothing negative as I am printing this out and taking it to canada in 2 weeks to see our nanny (husbands grandmother, did alot of his raising.) Our gorgeous Nanny turned 106 in Feb. The woman pictured is my husbands much younger sister. This was nannys 106. She is sound mind (better than me to be honest) But she is very lonely. Please if you can find it in your heart, send a message here to this amazing woman and I will print off. I will report to have deleted any negatives . Thank you all so much in advance. i know how caring this community can be..

@ everyone. She enjoyed a cheeky whiskey. She has already asked me to bring the little "airplane" ones in..and be careful so no one sees. @martinisforeveryone Her name is Marion. . She is truly someone to be admired. 22 years ago, we were sitting at home. Nanny called us. She said PLEASE PLEASE your moose needs a friend (moose was a 100lb german shephard) I said no. but she then (cheeky wee woman) called our daughter. She was 14 turning 15 at the time. She said .. and I quote.. @#$Hly my neighbour has a little standard poodle. His idiot kids from vancouver bought it for him and are gone. Little dog is digging up his flowers and he put her on (local paper) for free. People coming are full of tattoos and holes in the ears..some even have holes in their faces!!! Make your mother come and meet her. Yup here we are..on our third and fourth standard poodle that is out of the same breeder as our gorgeous girl. Our Nanny was not taking no for an answer lol

Nanny has so many stories. Including things like when she had next to no money and it was the dead of winter in Canada. Her and pops decided to prioritize heat. BUT BUT the kids were hungry and she wanted a hot meal for her kids (including my husbands mother.. Pops dug a hole in the frozen ground.. they put wood in it..lit on fire and she took the oven rack out.. put a joint of beef on it. covered it with one of her big pots. They had beef for 2 days with that.!!! She is really the most amazing woman. When Pops passed she refused to go into assisted living. After about 3 months I was informed (I lived in another city) that she was refusing to leave house so had no groceries. I went. we fixed a bunch of issues but she eventually gave in and moved to her first assisted living. I will never forget her phoning me and saying "OMG they have a wine night here in the lounge!!! music and wine. YOU should move here. I KNOW you love wine..LMFAO

Belated birthday wishes, Nanny! 106 is amazing! My Nanna will be 94 this year. She always makes me laugh with her morbid jokes on her birthday like 'just checked the obituaries and I'm not in there so it's going to be a good birthday!' 😂 she's always cracking jokes like that. 🙈😂

I lost my own Nanny a few months ago aged 102 so know what a huge role a nan plays in everyone's lives, hearts and minds, Nanny's are the stuff of legends. Enjoy your celebration 💗
