So I've stayed at my mums for the last week as me and my partner had a big fall out of you look on my previous post a lot due to me not doing the girls jobs in the house "cooking/cleaning" when I work full time and we have a daughter.
He's now gone back in his word and makes out he can now see I am depressed and why I haven't pulled my weight (yet I 100% have just got a little overwhelming this last week or so) Yes I've been depressed for 5 years!
We've been in this cycle for the last 18 months yet all he can say is he has changed now and he feels differently.
I said I can't go home yet, i feel numb. he said he can't be my friend because we are supposed to be in a relationship. So what's the point in him trying to change.

Another this is we have only had sex a handful of times in the last 10 months. His side he is frustrated and angry about it because if I don't give him that he can't feel love for me. But my side is I don't supported and cared for as he never speaks to me. So then I don't feel like having sex or passion.

Do not go back to the relationship.

Obeast · 16/03/2024 15:54

Dump him and enjoy life. Don't date misogynist trash.

FunnyFinch · 16/03/2024 15:54

Do not go back to the relationship.

of course she will

georgiamae98 · 16/03/2024 15:55

It probably sounds really stupid because I do have love for him, perhaps it's a kind of Stockholm syndrome kind of thing I suppose. But how do you go away from the relationship especially with a child involved. And with someone who can't possibly co parent or wait for a few weeks.

You only get one life OP, is this really how you want to live it?

Speaking on here because I don't know who to talk to or would like to speak to someone who may have been in a similar situation. I thought this was a space for parents etc to he heard and helped not judged.

you start a thread
you are told to leave and this is no life for you and most importantly your child
you leave thread
wait a few weeks
start another one

NotOverYouOcelot · 16/03/2024 15:59

People should be nicer, it took me years to leave my ex.
OP how do you know he won't co parent?

Obeast · 16/03/2024 15:59

Make plans to lone parent and find somewhere to live. Unless it's your property, then boot the scumbag out.
No need for arguing or drama, just inform him the relationship is over.

Stickyricepudding · 16/03/2024 16:00

Change the locks if necessary

Obeast · 16/03/2024 16:02

Have you not found your previous threads helpful?
Is having this man in your child's home in her best interests? The best example of a male she will see? She'll think this knuckle dragger is what she should aspire to saying when she's an adult, which is horrifying.

He is only interested in me, I have asked if while I'm trying to feel better in myself and living with my parents if we can do things more for the child and get on and be friendly however he says he can't be my friend when we are supposed to be in a relationship.

I have tried to make it work for my family's sake. I think I'm previous posts the issues may have been different and perhaps I should of commented back on those to speak to people but if I'm honest I didn't really know how to work this app as it is only something suggested to me by my therapist.

Your therapist suggested Mumsnet?! It can be a little, umm, brutal here sometimes

Obeast · 16/03/2024 16:10

I don't think the app functions very well, I just use the website.

Your other threads show you live in your boyfriends property, so you'll need to find somewhere to live. A dysfunctional family is not a family.
Your kid deserves better than living in this misery.

georgiamae98 · 16/03/2024 16:12

I've been through multiple therapist and it was suggested about having a look on here to see if there is anyone that may have been through a similar situation that I could talk to. Instead people Just judge I'm sorry just probably too naive x

Edited

Previous times he hasn't let me go anywhere. He said he was going because it was my home and our child's home. But this time I have gone because he can't control me now.

she is either not trained or you’re fibbing
