Its Friday evening, what are you doing?

Pretty much just that.

I am a middle aged old hag that lives alone and love it.

I have just come in from walking in the snow, and its beautiful out but cold.

I am wondering what others are up to across the sea from me and raising a glass, cheers

Just back from a (night) walk, sitting at the piano messing around, waiting to go and collect my takeaway. (Don’t usually do takeaways but my other half had a big lunch today as he was travelling, and I couldn’t be bothered cooking tonight just for me!🙈)

I went to the funeral today of someone I loved deeply. So I'm having a quiet cry and a pizza.
Snow would be good now. X

Been for a run, had food (soup), now having a long soak in the bath! 🛁

Worked from home today so not seen another living soul and that’s how I wanted it.

Just spoken to my friends who’s had a recent break up after 10 years and found out he’s already got someone else - sounds about right!

Just settling down waiting for The Traitors. Doing dry January so it’s zero alcohol wine tonight

@Procrastination4 would love a piano, but I am dreadfully tone-deaf

Sitting in the car waiting for DDs youth group to finish. 1 hour down. 1 hour to go.

Lucky I've got episodes 10 & 11 of The Traitors downloaded on the tablet to make the time go quickly.

We are at SILs wedding. DD is 8 months old so DH and I are taking it in turns to be in the hotel room while she sleeps. I'm on watch at the moment and contemplating a little sleep too.

Laying on the bed watching monty don , DH watching footie . I went to friends for lunch ate far too much … won’t bother with tea … obviously did … not uncomfortably stuffed 🤦‍♀️🤣

Watching an old Grand Designs, reading Mumsnet and drinking wine

Finished work at 4pm. Walked to the local pub with DH for a couple of hours.

Had a takeaway delivered to home, I’m now curled up on the couch with a glass of red wine and the pooch watching Top of the Pops.

I’ll be in bed by no later than 10pm.

Sprawled on the sofa in my pjs and oodie scrolling mumsnet and feeling very bored. Dh is watching a crap film, Dd9 is upstairs getting ready for bed and I’ll go up and give her a kiss and have a chat in 5 minutes. Dd19 and dd16 have gone out for a drive somewhere as they were also bored - they’ll no doubt end up at the cinema as it’s their usual go to.

I’m shattered after a busy week at work so will probably be in bed within the hour. Very rock and roll, I know.

Just got back from picking DS up from Cubs and finished my tea (thanks DH for cooking). Now waiting for the washer to finish (got about 10 minutes to go) so I can put it all in the airing cupboard to dry overnight, then will be heading to bed as up early tomorrow and to say my class have been challenging today would be an understatement.

Also a hag who lives alone and loves it!

I'm hobbling about (extra hag style!) after an exercise class for fellow old, bent, useless people this morning.

I spent this afternoon watching Michael Moseley's supermarket shop programme on CH4 and vowing to sort my life out. Then watched Emmerdale, footy came on after, so I've retired to bed with grand ideas for tomorrow and meal planning ahead for stuff I might like to eat.

Just to add to the whole hag theme, I'm in bed wearing a bonnet!! (A silk cap thing for people with curly hair but I prefer the romance of calling it a bonnet! 😆)

If this was back in 1987 I would be heading to The Red Lion bub in Bushey Hearts to meet the girls, how times have changed. There was a bloke working at this pub who looked like Jason Donovan but spoke with a Yorkshire accent, needless to say I had a massive crush on him along with a line of others, sure he helped bring in some revenue, those times were grand, actually think that pub is still there

Watching the darts on TV. Wishing I didn't have to get up at silly o clock tomorrow but I've paid for a course so need to go.

I’m off on holiday and have to be up at 1am. I went to sleep at 6.30 for two hours and now I’m awake 😬 so trying to go back to sleep to hopefully get a few more hours in!

Finished work at 6pm, home to do all the house work and hair wash night to avoid having to do it at the weekend! Curled up on the sofa watching old episodes of Scott and Bailey having a gin, contemplating opening a bottle of wine but working tomorrow morning for a few hours.

Preg - 3rd trimester - no sex since literally last year 2023. Today gave hubby a huge hint for some fun, he shut me down by saying he has a headache (but managed to be on the phone scrolling it all day). So I m not in a good mood all day and he pretty puzzled. The irony was that after dinner tonight, heard our next door neighbour having the loudest sex ever. 8pm in the evening. No difference from a typical porn on full volume.

DH tried to deny what he heard and said if I was singing . 😓

what a highlight of our Friday. It’s the first time we heard anything like that from our neighbour!! But we did know recently all their grown up kids moved out. Perhaps is their release. lol

I’m a middle aged hag that lives alone. Worked all day but had a lunchtime walk by the sea. Now dyeing my grey roots, listening to watch what crappens and cleaning my place, ready for friends and professional day drinking tomorrow.

Dog on my knee, scrolling through here, might get another cup of tea in a minute. Watching a film but only as background.
