I think my partner is going to propose tomorrow...

Today he has been making me stand with my hands across my eyes, to take Polaroid photos of me.

So, this morning he took one of me next to the Christmas tree with my eyes closed. I couldn't open them until he'd left the room.

Then he's done a few more at random places across the day....

I don't want to get my hopes up but what is he hiding!? What is this about!!!

Excited but still need to keep my cool just in case it's something completely different haha.

Will update!!

This is MUCH more romantic than my proposal where DH got down on his knee in the bathroom just after I had had another vomiting bout when we both had D&V!!!!!

Basically;

We love Polaroid photos; we always get a couple of packets of the film for special occasions/holidays etc. we have a lovely folder full of amazing memories.

So, the last couple of days he's got me to have my eyes closed, or hands in front of face and taken a pic. I obviously asked why! And he just said they were for a present of mine.

Then when he proposed this evening, we actually went for a walk which was planned. My mum came over and had the kiddies.

We stopped outside some beautiful Christmas lights, and he asked if I wanted my last present!

I obviously said yes. He gave me a card. And it said some beautiful words but also contained all the Polaroids! I have added one as an example.

And as I was reading/looking he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!

It isn't to everyone's taste as I can see haha but it was very lovely for me.

Omg nooo stop it!!! That’s literally the sweetest thing ever.

I was confused when you said he was asking you to take pictures as I had no clue what that suggested. How nice to see this is something that you tend to do anyway and he’s got the ring in the picture. I love him!

Love the ring too btw, certainly my kind of style. Merry Christmas and congratulations🥂
