Today he has been making me stand with my hands across my eyes, to take Polaroid photos of me.

So, this morning he took one of me next to the Christmas tree with my eyes closed. I couldn't open them until he'd left the room.

Then he's done a few more at random places across the day....

I don't want to get my hopes up but what is he hiding!? What is this about!!!

Excited but still need to keep my cool just in case it's something completely different haha.

I'm not a huge fan of social media and think these trends can be a bit immature but ultimately he's clearly excited and wanting to commemorate it in his own way and that's a sweet thing.

It's five years since my Christmas Day proposal. It was magical and DH had put a lot of thought into it. We went through all the usual gift giving and then he disappeared because he'd "forgotten one". No social media stuff, but that isn't for us. If he's got your relationship down to a tee with this OP and it's what you want, it will be fabulous!

I haven't seen these trends as neither of us have TikTok but I think he's been putting the ring box next to me and taking photos on our Polaroid (we love our Polaroid camera!) so that's why he's had me close my eyes etc
