Dumped by text after 9 months

Just as the title suggests really , dumped by WhatsApp text this morning after a 9 month relationship, both of us in our 50’s so I did expect better behaviour really, maybe a face 2 face or a call, not just the cowards wayout 😡

just pissed of and so disappointed really ☹️

It’s bad timing coming up to Xmas but OP it is now than in two or three years time.

I was dumped by a woman

the message just said she had decided not the continue the relationship, she also deleted my number from WhatsApp as her picture disappeared

Tbh. There is no good way to be dumped. At least this way you don't have to see his face or look upset in front of him. You still retain your dignity

I am so sorry 😢. The father of my 2 and 4 year old dumped me via a phone call… in front of them. He took the cowards way out too and never took any responsibility for the mess he left. I shouldn’t of been surprised though as he did have an affair when the 2 year old was born. You had a lucky escape as you cant have a healthy relationship with these types of people.

No, I didn’t think so - we don’t live together but were talking about this being the next step over dinner that night, I can only guess she suddenly got cold feet about moving in and got scared

I think you're right, she probably had commitment issues and the talk about moving her brought those on, but it's obviously a reasonable discussion to have. I bet you feel shit, I am sorry.
