He’s 41
Twice divorced
His child lives in another country with his ex partner
He and his recent ex (not mother of his child) were cheating on each other - he had suspicions, so started hooking up with women from a dating app; she eventually left him for someone else
He has retrained as a teacher so earning no more than £35k
Has zero disposable income as he rents alone and has huge expenses
So no more dates - cannot afford it
Has only a few thousand in savings as he blew over £15k in the last 1-2 years since his recent divorce on dating women and setting himself up
He eats porridge and toast in the evenings, presumably because he cannot afford other food
He constantly complains about the state of the country and how hard it is for people like him
He has trauma from growing up in an abusive household
He’s been dating extensively and admitted to sleeping with three different women in one day
He says he’s looking for a serious relationship

I get serious help for anyone who thought he was a viable partner.

More red flags than I can count....a teacher...stealing Shock

OutDamnedSpot · 08/07/2023 18:01

This is a friend, right? Oh your ex?

Surely no one sensible enough to ask the question could not already know the answer.

SleepingStandingUp · 08/07/2023 18:02

Ooh he sounds hot. Pass him over when you're done with him

Lordofmyflies · 08/07/2023 18:04

NO. I'd rather stick hot pins in my eyeballs.

TheHappyCarrot · 08/07/2023 18:13

Did he actually volunteer this information?

BackAgainstWall · 22/07/2023 08:43

No.
He sounds like far too much of a liability to me.
I feel sorry for the poor kids that have to be taught by him.

To be fair, there's nothing in OPs post that suggests he wouldn't be a perfectly good teacher.

An absolute nightmare to start a relationship with, but fine as a teacher.

Um, he's a thief!

Jongleterre · 23/07/2023 07:15

No. Apart from the fact he's 'well used', he has no financial prospects and no morals if he's stealing.

Flashingtealights · 23/07/2023 07:28

Are you for real? He's a thief, you've seen that on more than one occasion, that's aside from him sleeping with 3 women in the same day and having no financial responsibility to the point he can't even take you out on a date.Run for the fucking hills

Autumntimeagain · 23/07/2023 07:46

OP, you've described him as ;

  • A walking STD 😱
  • A liar😡
  • A thief 😬
  • A potential cocklodger 🤑

Seriously, what did you expect posters to say ? 🤔

Not even if he looked like Dan Stevens.

Might shag him though.
But at his place.
Seems like the sort of wanker who'd steal your toaster.
Your guy. Not Dan Stevens. I'd imagine Dan Stevens can afford to replace his own toasters.

I had to Google Dan Stevens.
What a relief, in my head I was thinking of Dan Walker.
