Tell me about Adultwork site please

I posted earlier with the wrong site name, I'm in such a state.
So I saw my DH had this on his phone as a frequent visit.
I didn't open it as I don't know how to work an iPhone but I need to know.
How you log in, do you need an email?
How you pay or is there free stuff on there? Could you pay cash because we have joint accounts...
I'm in a terrible state I feel sick.

I haven't had cause to go near it for many years but as far as I remember, you set up an account, you pay with a card. There were some free bits I think. If you can't open his phone at least take a photo of what you can see because the minute you mention it, it will be deleted and you'll be made to feel like you are going crazy.

I can see the icon for one of the most used sites first one was Hamster which we've had a conversation about before and I'm thinking it was through this but I have no idea. I could do with looking but have no idea if he's set up an account or anything.

Anyone can go on it and get a prostitute's phone number, plus see all they're selling, should they choose to publish it on their profile. You don't need a log-in.

Sorry it's not just 'cam girls' on there! Many kinds of creators are on there. But my understanding is you pay to see the persons content. It's not like YouTube where you can see everyone's content.

I've just had a browse. It's full of prostitutes and women doing cam work. Nothing looks free and you need to buy credits to see anything.

Thanks, this is really helpful.
So what I need to do now is ask him if I can see his latest credit card loan statement.
This is the only thing he has separately it's an old loan and he has a card with it that he doesn't use....or does he? He doesn't get paper statements and it's all on the app.

I don't think so but I went on Hamster and I could see there's a link to Adultwork videos on there, so I'm assuming it's that.
I can't see him paying..

Adult works is generally used to contact local prostitutes, they won't generally pay by card for that (although I believe you can). The general charge around my area is 80-120 for 30mins and 180ish for an hour, so may be worth checking for cash withdrawals. (I have a friend who is a sex worker who uses the website)

No, you can't pay via Adultwork for a booking with a prostitute. As a rule, most prefer cash but some accept bank transfers, Paypal, Amazon vouchers, even bitcoin. But, like I said, the payment won't be made via Adultwork.

Yes, Adultwork is home to prostitutes, but there are also a large number of cam girls, as well as those who just sell pictures, videos and/or sex chat. Custom content can be bought, as can specific items. Very little on Adultwork is free although if you use the messaging system to contact a sex worker, that is free. Many of the sex workers on Adultwork accept tips. Again, this is paid in the form of Adultwork credits.

In order to purchase anything on Adultwork, you need to buy credits.

Possibly. You'll need to google the specific steps for your model of router and internet provider. For example "How to view browsing history via Plusnet Hub 2.0"

You may find it's not possible. Virgin Media for example don't have this option. Possibly to protect abuse victims being further controlled by their abusers and found out when seeking help. Or maybe to enable people to shag around and view porn. Who knows.

Perhaps a bigger question is why bother? You obviously don't trust this man and you can leave for any reason - you don't need "proof" or his permission.

I have just ended a 9 year relationship as my partner was using this website and was actually meeting up with prostitutes behind my back. I'm sorry but I personally wouldn't trust him. I am now trying to get my life back together. It has been hard but I could never have forgiven him/ taken him back etc as I have too much self respect and know my mental health would have taken a nose dive. I'm glad he's gone now and me and my son can both move on with our lives. Please do what you need to do, but if he's on these sites I'm sorry he would be out the door if it was me. Take care x

I demanded his bank statements and then he burst into tears and confessed what he did. I have no idea how long it was going on for, he never apologised, showed zero empathy and would not answer any of my questions. So I have had no closure. I've realised he is a narcissist as he has the same traits, 9 years too late though. Karma will deal with him now.
