hello, I started using the app, I haven't paid anything but not getting any matches, to those Tinder savvy people: do I need to pay? Which option is the cheapest in order to see matches etc... Thanks and wish me good luck! :-)

@Opentooffers I'm 44 and I get plenty of likes from men in their 20s on Tinder. Men really aren't that discerning (or bright)

Update: I contacted Tinder yesterday, filled in an "appeal form", politely explained I had been banned apparently for no reason after following their guidelines. 12 hours later a real person in Palo Alto (California) from tinder headquarters (her email address showed up as [email protected] -not her real name- contacted me. there was a phone number and an address as signature in the email hence the reason I believe my appeal had been escalated to a real person. She profusely apologised and my Tinder profile was reinstated.

Apparently people have been posting too many fake profiles on Tinder and they recently implanted a very sensitive algorithm that will have you banned with the sound of a fly. When you sign up now you need to provide a verification picture video that needs to match your pictures, they do it through a facial recognition software. I believe I had my glasses on when I took the verification photo and the pictures on my profile had no glasses so maybe that's what triggered the ban?

Can you link to where you appealed - i recently
got banned after doing the verification but when I tried emailing them I got told there was no appeals process and I’d stay banned! Curious if you used a different link. It’s very annoying!

Hi, I believe I went to the Tinder settings of the app, clicked on "support", clicked on "can't log in" option, then clicked on "I have been banned" option and got a support ticket box pop up where I politely explained the situation in writing. I then got an email stating they were reviewing my case, 6 hours after I got another email from a human being stating there had been a mistake and I should be able to log in. problem solved. the way I figured this out was by googling "how to appeal a Tinder ban".

Actually most of the guys I match with are in their late 20's. I've been messaging with like ten. I believe cougars are milfs we're in huge demand. It's going to be a fun Christmas 😂

You’re not a predator at all, you sound great - if you’re after sex only, younger men are clearly where it’s at. You don’t want to be scrabbling round for a Viagra for a random hook-up while he finds his specs 😂

Ahhh that’s the same thing I already did but they told me no! I may try again - none of the other apps really have anyone on where I live.

Have you made it clear in your profile that you just want casual?. In my tried and tested tinder experience that gets you loads of matches within 5 minutes of swiping. I am older than you and l am frequently matched with 30 something men, sometimes younger. I'm bored with it now but l did have a lot of fun.
