So a few weeks ago I found a pair of knickers in the wash, not mine, definitely not DD's (she's 18). Asked dd if she knows whom they belonged to, she didn't and I forgot about it. I didn't automatically jump to the suspecting of dh.
Today these knickers have reappeared in the wash pile, to be fair they were in with the pile of 'clothes nobody really wears or wants anymore' pile but it got me thinking, who do these belong to? They're a size 16 from George at Asda.,
I said to DH oh must be your fancy woman's, he obviously denied it and was asking who's they were.
He's not screaming lying cheating pr1ck to me but on the other hand, where have they come from ?

This thread would be more more fun if it turned out DH was a cross dresser

I would wash them again and see if they come back a third time. If they do call the police. They are looking for a very sad individual that shops at ASDA. They may need back up support. Very worrying. This would keep me awake at night for sure.

I would assume your dh has a liking for them. There are so many ways they could be in your house. Most likely is a friend of your dd left them.
i don’t think it’s likely your dh has had an affair and brought a pair of supermarket knickers away. Saying that, is he a tradesman working in others homes? It has been known for a msn to go through washing baskets for knickers.
My money is on a friend of your dd and them ending back in the wash.

Wash them and put them in DH underwear draw. See if they stay there

I found random pants in my house. Turned out our nanny had decided she would do her laundry at my house while I was at work. Do you have someone who works in your house sometimes OP? Could be that the cleaner dropped her pants (for whatever reason), someone just picked them up and shoved them in the wash without thinking and then, because they don't have a home they have circled back to the clothes no one wants pile?
Though I also like the idea of a vast knicker wearing cat.

Ffs a human doesn't need to be big or heavy to wear a size 16 pants but if a cat had the equivalent of a human's size 16 bum it would need to be massive. That's what @TwoLeftSocksWithHoles said

We sometimes get a shoe in the garden. Foxes like to play with things. Could it have been brought in by someone who lives wth you on the belief that it is worn by someone in the house? Agree with pp's suggesting you need to look wider afield than the womenfolk!

Had an aunt (God rest her soul) who used an old pair of knickers as a cleaning rag for the floor.

If your dh was wearing them I secret he wouldn't put them in the wash, ditto if they belonged to his mistress so there has to be a more mundane reason. Do you think they have been worn since they were last washed, and as a pp said, where did you put them when you found them the first time.

Almost certainly belong to a friend of your daughter. My younger teen daughter has a small pile of random underwear on her dresser hoping to one day be reunited with their owners 🤷‍♂️

I posted a month or so ago about finding random knickers on the indoor clothes line (black, size 10, Tu sainbury) after my STBXH had done his own undies wash.

The consensus was he was either a cross dresser or was playing games with me.

Still don’t know and I never said anything to him. Water under the bridge now.
