I've arranged a baby sitter

Most of you won't have the faintest idea why this is so shocking but some will as its a huge, massive, gigantic big deal for me.

Am still bricking it though....

Wow Lth!! Have a great time

Maybe you can try catch up with me and make #5 on the way home

Polgara2 · 15/01/2008 12:52

Excellent have a great time LTH. Am very really. My eldest is 10 and I can count on one hand (or half a hand!) the amount of times dh and I have been out on our own since I first got pregnant! Although to be fair it is lack of childcare that is the main culprit.

MarsLady · 15/01/2008 22:34

So how was it? Did the kids survive? Did your SIL survive? Did you and DH survive each other's company? Are you pregnant?

ladytophamhatt · 16/01/2008 09:13

LOLOLOL at your last question Mars!

Was a nice few hours, pub was empty(apart froma nobhead who was attempting to chat up the barmaid who clearly thought he was no better then a great big steaming turd), we virtually had the whole place to ourselves.

We actually talked...as in a conversation...without being interupted.

Only thing that spoiled the evening was the Chippy was shut so I couldn't get any on the way home

Sil wasn't even clawing at the door to escape when we got home. We'd got most of the children to bed before we went out but Ds2 worked his charms and got another story...and bless her she made one up, from her imagination!!

Thats something I haven't done in ages, in fact I think I've forgetton how to do it so Ds2 was in awe.

Capitalise!!!!!!!!!!!! He's in awe of SIL. Get her back again to babysit and maybe .... oh I don't know.......... go to the cinema and watch a film.

chipmonkey · 16/01/2008 10:17

I used to love it when my parents went out! We had a babysitter who used to make us milkshakes and let us jump from the dressing table to the bed without interruption!

well done you x
