My dh gets up first every single day so I start each day feeling slightly smug and slightly better rested.

He fanices the pants off me.

He is ambitious and hard-working.

He must be very tolerant because I can think of no-one else who would put up with me for long .

He is extremely well-endowed.

2: He always knows when I need to be brought cups of tea and covered with big furry blankets
3: He came on MN once to investigate what the fuss was all about, managed not to insult anyone and probably read my threads but is way too much of a gentlemen to hold anything against me
4: He is a fabulous dad to our boys
5: He never ever ever made me feel I was not doing a valuable job when I jacked in F/T work and stayed at home with our children for 5 years

fullmoonfiend · 09/11/2007 09:48

Tanee58 · 09/11/2007 14:20

I Really LIKE this thread! But how to limit it to only 5?

  1. He's made me feel like I am truly myself, in my own skin, for the first time in my life (took 45 years to get there, but worth the wait!)
  2. He's gorgeous even though his lovely curly dark brown hair is now mainly grey and getting rather thin on top and he has LOVELY grey eyes.
  3. He's great in bed - and out of it ...
  4. He's never afraid to say sorry when he's been a twit
  5. He's done brilliantly at becoming friends with my dd when she was hugely angry at us getting together. It's taken five years to get this far, but he never complained and always remembered that she was the child, we the adults.

And I just love him.

Tanee58 · 09/11/2007 14:20

Can we have another five?

Doubletop · 09/11/2007 14:28

My dh and I write lists like this to each other...there's nothing like it for cheering you up.

My dh:
Thinks I am sex on legs.

Is very patient with my mad mood swings and changes of mind

Is great with the children

Is prepared to talk things through when we are in a bad patch

Hasn't killed my mother yet, despite EXTREME provocation!

Tanee58 · 09/11/2007 14:40

Doubletop, that's a brilliant idea. What say we all tell our partners what we've posted? (maybe not saying that we've already shared them with MN as some of them are a bit personal! I'm going to text mine tonight - he's working abroad and I miss him .

Doubletop · 09/11/2007 14:43

Aw, Tanee, he will love that. Its so easy to bang on about how crap our partners are,I know I'm guilty of it.

But making time to tell your other half how grateful you are and what they mean to you....sniff...someone hand me a tissue.....I don't do it often enough.

chocolatemummy · 09/11/2007 14:54
