Would your dh ever touch you over your clothes sexually in the same room as your children were watching tv? How sound you react / feel about this?

Hell no. Completely inappropriate and he'd get short shrift if he tried.

Closetbeanmuncher · 01/01/2021 22:51

I would feel uncomfortable with that.

SendHelp30 · 01/01/2021 22:52

God no. I would be furious with him.

Dyrne · 01/01/2021 22:54

He’d get shrugged off as subtly as possible and as soon as we were alone I’d read him the fucking riot act. Completely inappropriate and is in fact classified as a type of child abuse.

(I’m assuming by “sexual touching” you mean more than just a cuddle. Playful touching - e.g honking boobs, poking bum etc I wouldn’t count as “sexual”)

AIMD · 01/01/2021 22:55

what you mean by sexual touching.

A pat on the bum as you walk past is quite different to him trying to rub your private parts or full on trying to engage in sexual activity.

Twistered · 01/01/2021 22:56

Did you post about this before?

Bamboo15 · 01/01/2021 22:57

🤣😀😀 ‘honking boobs’ 🤣🤣🤣

Souvlaki · 01/01/2021 22:57

Touching private parts over clothing in a manner aimed at arousing me. Makes me feel very uncomfortable.

Affectionately rubbing your hip?
Or stroking your breast?

Souvlaki · 01/01/2021 22:58

Nor posted about this before.
I wondered if my reaction was normal or was it prudish.

No no no not appropriate

Twistered · 01/01/2021 22:59

God no that's not on at all. Tell him to fucking stop

Leftrightatthelights · 01/01/2021 23:01

That’s actually classed as sexual abuse

alexdgr8 · 01/01/2021 23:01

it makes you uncomfortable.
there's your answer. you don't need us to tell you.
why do you let him do this. when did it start.

Mammyloveswine · 01/01/2021 23:01

No not normal!! And me snd Dh are quite relaxed generally!!!

But foreplay in front of children is clearly but acceptable

AIMD · 01/01/2021 23:02

That’s weird and should not be done in front of kids. No my OH wouldn’t do that...he does sometimes squeeze my bum but I don’t really like that to be honest and stop him if I am not comfortable.
Sunshinesandrainbows · 01/01/2021 23:03

No that is not good at all!!! Poor kids and poor you, you need to tell him it is not OK to do that with the kids in the room!!!!

alexdgr8 · 01/01/2021 23:03

is he the father of the children ?

soopedup · 01/01/2021 23:05

Not appropriate at all

Bookaholic73 · 01/01/2021 23:07

If the ‘kids’ are less than a year old, they have no clue what you are doing.
Any older than that, I’d say it’s highly inappropriate!

Souvlaki · 01/01/2021 23:09

Yes he’s their dad. We we divorcing. Hec St or the a couple of weeks with us over the summer when I thought we might get bank together but he got too confident abs started behaving like this .he graced my crotch when I was washing up and then threw a huge stroo when I accused him of doing a Donald trump- acted hugely hurt and offended at mr “ calling him Donald trump”. He has pushed my boundaries for years snd I’m just looking back at things and how I felt about them anc it’s helpful to know how others would react.

MeMarmiteYouJam · 01/01/2021 23:11

No, this is abusive towards you, and the children. Wrong.

Whoah!!! No! Not appropriate!

Joke ok but actually to arouse you - totally completely wrong. Weird.

lunar1 · 01/01/2021 23:15

My friends ex is only allowed supervised contact because of behaviour like this.

Sundance2741 · 01/01/2021 23:16

Of course it's not right. If a child reported this to someone at school, it would be investigated by the safeguarding lead. Might not necessarily lead to the involvement of social services, but it would be recorded.
