AM SO DISCUSTED & ANGRY!

I know that I may be over reacting, but I am fuming right now!
My 2 young sons were both sitting watching cbeebies & suddenly I heard my eldest ds yell because ds2 had turned on the play button & ruined the programme (nothing new there!)
Any way, I was alarmed 2 then hear sexual noises coming from the tv & see that they were sat viewing a close up of a woman performing oral sex on a well endowed black penis!
I am not a prude, & if I am married 2 a bloke who obviously gets a kick out of this (which I didn't think he was into until 5 minutes ago!) then so be it, but 2 leave it in the video recorder, when he knows that our 1.5 yr old loves pressing buttons, has made me really, really cross!
Our children are aged 1 & 5 & I feel sick that they have just seen this.
My dh has gone out 4 the night 2 his friends house (as he often does) so I can't even have a rant at him!
Do u think that I'm over reacting, or would u be angry 2?

Well, as I thought, I was still very awake when he returned from his friends last night & told him right away that I was very angry with him.
He seemed concerned & asked why, at which point I explained how our 2 young children had been exposed 2 filthy porn etc.
He made out that he had been looking 4 a blank tape 2 record Frasier on & put that 1 in thinking it was an old Man u tape, as it was in a red case & then forgot 2 take it out because he was in a rush!
Hmmmmm, for start I'm not sure that I believe his story anyway, but more importantly that does not excuse the concerning aspect that our children were exposed 2 it atall.
I ranted about how 1 second they were watching Tweenies & the next moment they were sat in front of a close up of a large erect black penis in a womans mouth!
When I first said this he actually laughed, which made me even crosser, as I do not think that it is amusing atall.
Eventually he admitted that it was bad & that he will do something nice with ds1 when he returns from his 12hr shift tonight!
He must have felt a little bad about it all, as this morning I noticed that the case I left out with the note on is also in the bin!

He actually said that he was going 2 phone me earlier in the evening 2 see how I was!
He would have got a real mouth full if he had, as I would have been at my angriest then!!

blueteddy · 16/10/2004 14:20

Absolutly!!
I left the case out with my angry message on top of it 4 not so dh 2 see & noticed that he had also binned that this morning b4 he left 4 work, so I guess he must feel a little ashamed of himself!

Blueteddy, I would have been furious if I was you. Hopefully, though, it will have affected you more than your kids and they've probably already forgotten it. That doesn't make it alright though.

But, I was wondering why you keep describing the penis as black. Is that relevant? Does that make it worse? Don't want to offend you but it quite struck me as I was reading the thread. (Or are you just trying to give us a clearer picture?)

whitefeather · 16/10/2004 14:25

just read this no wonder your furious you defo need that stiff drink we were chatting about xx

blueteddy · 16/10/2004 14:33

No k&tg, it does not matter what colour the penis was, just giving u a very clear picture!

KateandtheGirls · 16/10/2004 14:34

Well thanks, blueteddy! I have a very vivid picture in my mind now.

blueteddy · 16/10/2004 14:35

As in that it is true what they say about black penises regarding size(SMILE)

me too blueteddy, very vivid image now. your poor boys. hopefully the incident will pass them by.

KateandtheGirls · 16/10/2004 14:37

So not only have your sons been exposed to inappropriate material, they're also feeling inadequate!

blueteddy · 16/10/2004 14:38

Absolutly K&tg & my husband!!!!!

oh dear.

anorak · 16/10/2004 14:39

I expect (hope) that he laughed as a nervous reaction. I doubt he really thinks it funny.

I do feel for you, my ex did something like this once, left one of those type videos in case from a Disney movie. But he was a prat in lots of ways and we parted company years ago.

Hopefully your dh will be responsible enough to learn from this.

blueteddy · 16/10/2004 14:41

I certainly hope so or you may find me starting a thread on filing 4 divorce!

KateandtheGirls · 16/10/2004 14:45

I'm glad you're able to laugh about it a little bit today. I'm sure you must still be fuming though.

blueteddy · 16/10/2004 14:52

Yes I am still fuming, but mumsnet has helped keep me sane!
