Is it ok to meet with boyfriend who I don't live with and go on a socially distant walk?

I haven't seen him in weeks. Thought about meeting and going for a walk in the very nearby countryside where we can walk at least two metres away from each other for exercise and a chat.

Is this allowed?

Please don't the guidelines say no.

I saw my parents last week while out with ds, they were walking on the otherside of the road. We shouted hi, but that was it, ds is only 3, he couldn't understand why we couldn't go say hi to meme and grumps...

I met mine for a walk the other day. We kept our distance and thoroughly enjoyed our catch up. I'll be doing it again this week.

The simple truth is that if everyone kept apart from all contact with anybody else for a couple of weeks, anyone who was infectious would no longer be infectious and the crisis would be over.

Society can't do that, and the more contact there is....the longer it goes on.
Of course everyone thinks that the rules don't apply to them.

I've seen DP just once since 22nd March. He stayed by the gate, I sat on my doorstep and we chatted. Mask & gloves, more than 2 metres apart. Apart from that we keep in touch via phone calls video calls and online Scrabble etc. Whatever you choose to do you have to be serious about keeping your distance. Going for a walk together means less likely to keep your distance I think as you'll want to chat whilst keeping on the move and that's difficult to do, 2 metres apart.
